At the most it could be that Ketu and the Sun are making their presence felt. In your case both the sun and the ketu are well placed. In the case of your wife the sun is well placed in the 9th but the ketu is not well placed in the 6th. If you like you might ask her to bury 6 onions in a barrenn place where nothing grows to strengthen her Ketu.
