Therefore you should do the following : [ a ] Gift a small toy silver cow at any temple. [ b ] On mondays do the Rudrabhishek with milk. Do it for at least 13 mondays. The rahu and moon are in 6-8 relationship with your moon placed in the 6th house. Therefore, for the duration your mother stays with you offer at any temple a yellow pumpkin [ paka hua peela kaddoo ] on any Wednesday, once a month. I hope this will ensure her good health while she is with you. [ 1 ] Offer 10 sabut baadam { whole almonds with shell} at any temple for 5 days regularly. Each day bring back home from the temple , as blessed prasaad , 5 almonds out of those offered by you. Keep them at home tied in a yellow or white silk cloth any where in the East side of your house. No one should eat or throw them away. [ 2 ] Wear a small square piece of silver in a gold chain. [ 3 ] She should not have in the house broad leaf green plants, green bottles, sea shells, paper flowers and coiled ropes/cables. She should not accept any tabeez or bhabhuti from any sadhu or faqeer. [ 4 ] She should not have any thing of ivory in the house. [ 5 ] There could be a possibility of her having problems with your mother [ her mother-in-law]. Therefore she should avoid any such possibility and should be more accomodative. Let them be there. According to Hindu tradition idols more than 14 angul or about 7 inches tall should not be kept in a pooja ghar at home. If you have idols taller than 7 " then you might think of shifting those idols to some temple and get smaller idols for your pooja ghar.
