Dear Sir,

A difference of 27 seconds is too much I suppose. It is equivalent to 6 month's ayanamsa. 1 second differene is acceptable.

Dear Dr.Luther Ji,What I follow is as follwsU have to find the difference of NKPA and Lahiri and selecting the KP ayanamsa given in the SW is useless, as the default is Lahiri.The difference should be add or Subtract from/to the Lahiri.See this Ex.As at Today 06.10.2008As per Astrosage Ayanamsa Calculator NKPA is 023-53-19As per JHL default - Lahiri is 023-58-57.87Difference is 00-5-38.87 and it is less than Lahiri.In the Ayanamsa Name Box, select "Custom(User Defined)"and input the difference and select "Less than" (ie - default) and OKThe resulted Ayanamsa is 23-53-19.,NKPAThe default KP Ayanamsa as at today is 23-52-52.47 in JHLAs per

Astrosage Ayanamsa Calculator NKPA is 023-53-19The difference is 00-00-26.53I think there won't be any difference in selecting SS & SSS, except in Spuhtas.According Mr.Kanak Bosmia"s Table, NKPA today is 23-53-20, that is 01 Sec difference.Good luckSunaparantha

Dear Sunaparanthaji,

You can easily find out NKPA if you visit astrosage web site.http:/www. astrosage. com/logy/ ayanamsa. asp. Then do the following: -

Open the JHora page>Preferences>Related to calculations>Ayanamsa>"Krishnamurty( KP) in the first box>tick mark the box "apply the correction specified below---">select "Add" or "Subtract"> fill in the difference in ayanamsa> OK.>save preferences.

I had to add the difference because the NKPA was higher than the default. If it happens to be lower then subtract . The KP default in SW differs only by few seconds from the NKPA.

Kindly inform me your progress.

I have already calculated the difference of NKPA & Lahiri(Chitrapaksa) and so far following, when I use HJL.I wanted to know, whether there is any easier way to do it.According to me the difference is 00-05-36.28 less than Lahiri.BUT I FACED ANOTHER QUESTION FROM YR MAIL (Because of my ignorance, I think)In the item No. 6, U have mentioned... Dear Kalyanji.

1. Please note down the NKPA from the file of Kanak Bosmia. Say it is for today. It is 23-53-21.

2. Open Jagannath Hora page and go through "Key Informations" . Find the ayanamsa and note it down.

3. Find out the difference between the two.

4. Click on the "preferences" at the top.

5. Click on "Ayanamsa".

6. In the box "Customise further", there is option to add or subtract. Select either of the two as you require. I had to add.

7.Type the difference in ayanamsa in thedegrees-minutes- seconds boxes provided.

8.Click "OK".

9 Please do not forget to go back and click on "Preferences" at the top and to click on "Save Preferences" .

Once you save it your SW will always use the NKPA. You need not worry further. Please take little pain once for all.

Congratulations for diagnosing correctly from Horoscope the problem in response to Shri Ravindra Grovers case study.

I read you do not get J hora and am pained to see you have to spent lot of time in calculating Charts.

By the way Your presentation of case study is excellent, including format you use.I wonder how you do so nicely.

Such a expert like you and engaged in medical practice must have some good sw.to save time.

J hora is not excellant for KP work but 7.2 has option to adjust Ayanamsa.

Many are using it.

I suppose you might be having download problem.
