What you state is correct.

But This was long before.

The download version works fine on my computer.

Dear Dr. Rath,In the meantime you can download JHora 7.02 from the same link. The difference between the two is that you cannnot get charts of birth dates before say 2,000 BC. Lahiri Ayanamsa is also corrected in JHora 7.2. In my opinion, these factors do not alter the chart to a great extent. However, given your level of indulgence in astrology, you may not want anything less than perfect which is understanble.

i tried to download the JH7.02 r4om the link given by ur goodself it downloaded. when i tried to unzip it i got a msg that it is corrupted. my partititoned disk where i got it downloaded collapsed. all the contents that i saved in that particular disk got wiped out. if u can kindly send me the unzipped files i shall also be grateful to u. 19. The accurate (Sayana) tropical chart with high precision of Swiss ephemeris can be calculated online by Astrodienst, which is also the most commonly used atlas query and time zone finder. The `Western geocentric (tropical)' or Sayana chart and Placidus house system are the default settings and the `Hindu/Lahiri geocentric (sideraeal)' or Nirayana chart using Lahiri Ayanamsa is available as an option.

20. By subtracting the NKPA from the calculated Sayana positions, the Nirayana KP chart, exactly the same as given by KPAstro 3.0, can be obtained. The sign, star and sub lords can be found from Table 1 of Star-Lord and Sub-Lord or any such table available in the KP literature or the link given below, and the dasa can be calculated manually or by running the Astraura or J Hora for the calculated Moon position by Astrodienst.

1. Please note down the NKPA from the file of Kanak Bosmia. Say it is for today. It is 23-53-21.

2. Open Jagannath Hora page and go through "Key Informations". Find the ayanamsa and note it down.

3. Find out the difference between the two.

4. Click on the "preferences" at the top.

5. Click on "Ayanamsa".

6. In the box "Customise further", there is option to add or subtract. Select either of the two as you require. I had to add.

7.Type the difference in ayanamsa in thedegrees-minutes-seconds boxes provided.

8.Click "OK".

9 Please do not forget to go back and click on "Preferences" at the top and to click on "Save Preferences".

Once you save it your SW will always use the NKPA. You need not worry further. Please take little pain once for all.

It isn't so. It needs to adjust for each chart to get the correct NKPA

because, as mentioned before, the difference between the Lahiri and NKPA

is changing over the time due to the difference in the annual precision

rate and the annual adjustment rate of the precision rate.

Dear Sunaparanthaji,

You can easily find out NKPA if you visit astrosage web site.http:/www.astrosage.com/logy/ayanamsa.asp. Then do the following: -

Open the JHora page>Preferences>Related to calculations>Ayanamsa>"Krishnamurty(KP) in the first box>tick mark the box "apply the correction specified below---">select "Add" or "Subtract"> fill in the difference in ayanamsa> OK.>save preferences.

I had to add the difference because the NKPA was higher than the default. If it happens to be lower then subtract . The KP default in SW differs only by few seconds from the NKPA.

Kindly inform me your progress.

2. Open Jagannath Hora page and go through "Key Informations" . Find the ayanamsa and note it down.

3. Find out the difference between the two.

4. Click on the "preferences" at the top.

5. Click on "Ayanamsa".

6. In the box "Customise further", there is option to add or subtract. Select either of the two as you require. I had to add.

7.Type the difference in ayanamsa in thedegrees-minutes- seconds boxes provided.

8.Click "OK".

9 Please do not forget to go back and click on "Preferences" at the top and to click on "Save Preferences" .

Once you save it your SW will always use the NKPA. You need not worry further. Please take little pain once for all.

Dear Dr.Luther Ji,What I follow is as follwsU have to find the difference of NKPA and Lahiri and selecting the KP ayanamsa given in the SW is useless, as the default is Lahiri.The difference should be add or Subtract from/to the Lahiri.See this Ex.As at Today 06.10.2008As per Astrosage Ayanamsa Calculator NKPA is 023-53-19As per JHL default - Lahiri is 023-58-57.87Difference is 00-5-38.87 and it is less than Lahiri.In the Ayanamsa Name Box, select "Custom(User Defined)"and input the difference and select "Less than" (ie - default) and

You can easily find out NKPA if you visit astrosage web site.http:/www. astrosage. com/logy/ ayanamsa. asp. Then do the following: -

Open the JHora page>Preferences>Related to calculations>Ayanamsa>"Krishnamurty( KP) in the first box>tick mark the box "apply the correction specified below---">select "Add" or "Subtract"> fill in the difference in ayanamsa> OK.>save preferences.

I had to add the difference because the NKPA was higher than the default. If it happens to be lower then subtract . The KP default in SW differs only by few seconds from the NKPA.

Kindly inform me your progress.

Congratulations for diagnosing correctly from Horoscope the problem in response to Shri Ravindra Grovers case study.

I read you do not get J hora and am pained to see you have to spent lot of time in calculating Charts.

By the way Your presentation of case study is excellent, including format you use.I wonder how you do so nicely.

Such a expert like you and engaged in medical practice must have some good sw.to save time.

J hora is not excellant for KP work but 7.2 has option to adjust Ayanamsa.

Many are using it.

I suppose you might be having download problem.

I can send you software provided you have enough space in your mail box.

I can upload and send links in case you have good band width connection.

But I have not tried to change Language. Dear Kalyanji.

1. Please note down the NKPA from the file of Kanak Bosmia. Say it is for today. It is 23-53-21.

2. Open Jagannath Hora page and go through "Key Informations" . Find the ayanamsa and note it down.

3. Find out the difference between the two.

4. Click on the "preferences" at the top.

5. Click on "Ayanamsa".

6. In the box "Customise further", there is option to add or subtract. Select either of the two as you require. I had to add.

7.Type the difference in ayanamsa in thedegrees-minutes- seconds boxes provided.

8.Click "OK".

9 Please do not forget to go back and click on "Preferences" at the top and to click on "Save Preferences" .

Once you save it your SW will always use the NKPA. You need not worry further. Please take little pain once for all.
