Thanks for your query. I don't have Progression module in my KP Astro 3.0. However Mr.R.Dhanabalan has worked out out for me for 27-10-1942 from his SW. The relevant position as per his Prog.Ch.on that date is (1) Ascdt.Cp 15deg.50'37" Sa-Mo-Sa-Sa-Su (upto SSSl) Ayan.22 Deg.52'49" (2) DBA on 27/10/42 both as per natal and Prog.chart is same Ma Dasa Ve B & A (3) confirmed;

(4) Ma 10,6,9 (7,4,11 Sec.(Mo in Ma' star0; Stl.Mer.7 (10,6,9,12,3 Sec.(Ra & Na in Me,star); S/L Ra+3,10,6,8,

7 (Rasi Lord Jup) (5) Ve 10,6,9 (11,5 Sec.(Sa.is in Ve star.

St.l Me 7 (10,6,9,123 are sec.Ra & Ma are in Me star)

Dear Tin Win

The birth chart and the progression chart for the date 27-10-1942 based on KPNA is attached. The KPNA value taken is 22.48.07. The Asc. Cp 16.00.00. All the values are matching with KPASTRO 3.0.

But in KPASTRO, the general significator is taken.

 

In the software I am using, the significators in the progression chart are based on the progressed position of the planets and Ascendant. Hence the value differ from natal chart. Late Mr.Mohan took two years to develop this progression method. The reliability of this progression chart has to be studied in depth before put into practice. There is different of opinion among the k.p. astrologers about this progression method. But this method is reasonable when compare to other progression methods.

While the Ayanamsa shown for natal birth chart is correct as per KPNA(2003), I find that that the Ayanamsa 23-26-59

(DMS) is not tallying with the KPNA(2003), difference being more than 28' in value. Kindly intimate which Ayanamsa is

used for the Prog.chart for 27-10-42. It is not tallying with

KP straight line Ayanamsa too. Pl.excuse me for troubling you.

The birth chart and the progression chart for the date 27-10-1942 based on KPNA is attached. The KPNA value taken is 22.48.07. The Asc. Cp 16.00.00. All the values are matching with KPASTRO 3.0.

But in KPASTRO, the general significator is taken.

 

In the software I am using, the significators in the progression chart are based on the progressed position of the planets and Ascendant. Hence the value differ from natal chart. Late Mr.Mohan took two years to develop this progression method. The reliability of this progression chart has to be studied in depth before put into practice. There is different of opinion among the k.p. astrologers about this progression method. But this method is reasonable when compare to other progression methods.

2. Although I can't read any attachment, my understanding is that

1) both Natal and Progression charts are almost the same by KPAstro & Astrowonder, as given below by KPAstro 3.0:

a) Natal chart, o8 Nov 1930, 10:44 AM IST, Chennai, 13N04, 80E17, Asc Sg 25:41:16, Moon Ta 14:01;41, Moon Dasa Bal 6Y:11M:22D , New KPA 22:48:06

b) Progression chart on 20 Oct 1942, 10:44 AM IST, Chennai, 13N04, 80E17, Asc Cp 15:59:54, Moon Ge 02:50:05, Mars Dasa Bal 0Y:0M:6D , New KPA 22:48:06

2) For 20 Oct 1942, Ma-Ve DB period is taken as per Natal chart for progression analysis.

3) In progression analysis signification of Ma-Ve DB is taken as per Progression chart as follows:

a) Ma is in 7 l/o 4,11; in the star of Me in 10 l/o 6,9; in sub of Ra+ in 3. No planet is in the star of Ra and Ra is the sublord of 4. Ra is in the star of Me in 10 l/o 6,9; Ra's signlord Ju is 7 l/o 3,12.

b) Ve is in 11 l/o 5,10; in the star of Me in 10 l/o 6,9; in sub of Mo in 5 l/o 7.

4) Signification of Ma-Ve DB as per Natal chart is as follows:

a) Ma is in 7 l/o 4,11,12; in the star of Sa in 12 l/o 2; in sub of Ju in 7 l/o 1,3.

b) Ve is in 11 l/o 5,6,10; in the star of Sa in 12 l/o 2; in sub of Ra+ in 3. No planet is in the star of Ra and Ra is the sublord of 3. Ra is in the star of Me in 10 l/o 7,9; Ra's signlord Ju is 7 l/o 1,3.

3. The signification of the death inflicting houses for father, Badhaka, Marka, Moksha i.e . 7,10,3,8 for Natal chart and 11,10,3,8 for Progression chart are can be checked by each chart in order to know which one is more fit. This approach is done by K. M. Subramaniam and V. Mohan in their article K.P. & Astrology 1999, page 6-12. (Deeper Implications of KP Reavealed through Progression under Vimshothari Dasa System)

Sorry for correction;

 

for both Natal and Progression charts, 9th cusp for father is in Vi, and

so for both charts, Badhaka is 3 (7 from 9), Marakas are 10 (2 from 9)

& 3 (7 from 9) , and Moksha is 8 (12 from 9).

Dear Ramani

 

For the birth chart TMP2, I have used the KPNA(2003) ayanamsa value 22.48.07. Mr.Tin Win has used 22.48.06 in KPASTRO 3.0. Values are same.

 

In the progression chart TMP3 also, the same KPNA(2003) ayanamsa value 22.48.07 is used. The value is printed in the chart itself. There is no difference in dasa balance. DBAS are same for both the charts.

 

I am not able to understand how you are telling that I have used the ayanamsa value 23.26.59. I have not used the ayanamsa value 23.26.59 for progression chart.

 

The DBAS for Moon on 27-10-1942 is Mars-Venus-Venus-Rahu

The Moon position in p.charts is Mars-Venus-venus-Rahu

 

The DBAS for Asc on 27-10-1942 is Moon-Sat-Sat-Jupiter

The Ascendant position in p.chart is Moon-Sat-Sat-Jupiter

 

The DBAS for Sun on 27-10-1942 is Jup-Rahu-Mer-Mer

The Sun position in p.charts is Jup-Rahu-Mer-Mer

 

The DBAS for Mars on 27-10-1942 is Mer-Rahu-Jup-Mer

The Mars position in p.charts is Mer-Rahu-Jup-Mer

 

Hence the progression chart is correct.

 

Please tell me how you arrived the ayanamsa value 23.26.59.

In the software I am using has the facility to see the DBAS for all the planets and Ascendant with a clik of a button. The facility to rotate the chart with or without recalculation. The facility of transit chart and movement chart. If it is not available in KPASTRO 3.0, ask them to introduce these facilities.

In TMP 3 Prog.chart for 27-10-1942, against Obliquity

there is mention of 23-26-59, which I took it to be as

Ayanamsaa value of 1942 for the date. If it is KPNA(2003)

22-48-07, I am happy about it. By the by, what is Obliquity

in this chart pl.?

In the progression chart TMP3 also, the same KPNA(2003) ayanamsa value 22.48.07 is used. The value is printed in the chart itself. There is no difference in dasa balance. DBAS are same for both the charts.

 

I am not able to understand how you are telling that I have used the ayanamsa value 23.26.59. I have not used the ayanamsa value 23.26.59 for progression chart.

The facility of transit chart and movement chart. If it is not available in KPASTRO 3.0, ask them to introduce these facilities.

In the software I am using, the significators in the progression chart are based on the progressed position of the planets and Ascendant. Hence the value differ from natal chart. Late Mr.Mohan took two years to develop this progression method. The reliability of this progression chart has to be studied in depth before put into practice. There is different of opinion among the k.p. astrologers about this progression method. But this method is reasonable when compare to other progression methods.

What Mr.Dhanabalan has produced is a progression chart wherein both natal and progeression chart will bear the same ayanamsas.The ayanamsas can be selected to your choice.That will be the same for Natal,Progression,Rotated,Transit and Movement charts.

Dear Tkp Gopal,

 

Thanks for the information. As this subject "Progression" is not dealt with in detail either in KP Reader or in Articles of any KP Astrologers in magazines, I did not come across

with the details, except some broad idea about the utility of Progression. In the TMP 3 Progressed chart generated from

Mr.Dhanabalan's SW, there is some value shown against "Obliquity" which I took it to be the new KPNA(2003) for the progressed chart. I could not follow what is "Obliquity".

If it means "corresponding value of Ayanamsa used for natal chart, then how it has been arrived at is not known to me,

because it does not tally with the Ayanamsa firgure of 1942.

Will you kindly throw some light on this issue? Thanks,

Obliquity is tilting of earth's axis. All we know that earth is 23 1/2 degree tiliting. It is taken for calculation in all softwares including the software in which you are using.

The birth chart and the progression chart for the date 27-10-1942 based on KPNA is attached. The KPNA value taken is 22.48.07. The Asc. Cp 16.00.00. All the values are matching with KPASTRO 3.0.

But in KPASTRO, the general significator is taken.

 

In the software I am using, the significators in the progression chart are based on the progressed position of the planets and Ascendant. Hence the value differ from natal chart. Late Mr.Mohan took two years to develop this progression method. The reliability of this progression chart has to be studied in depth before put into practice. There is different of opinion among the k.p. astrologers about this progression method. But this method is reasonable when compare to other progression methods.

For the birth chart TMP2, I have used the KPNA(2003) ayanamsa value 22.48.07. Mr.Tin Win has used 22.48.06 in KPASTRO 3.0. Values are same.

 

In the progression chart TMP3 also, the same KPNA(2003) ayanamsa value 22.48.07 is used. The value is printed in the chart itself. There is no difference in dasa balance. DBAS are same for both the charts.

 

I am not able to understand how you are telling that I have used the ayanamsa value 23.26.59. I have not used the ayanamsa value 23.26.59 for progression chart.

 

The DBAS for Moon on 27-10-1942 is Mars-Venus-Venus- Rahu

The Moon position in p.charts is Mars-Venus-venus- Rahu

Do you mean that the obliquity is not considered in KPASTRO 3.0 or in Jagannatha Hora.

Then how these software results are tallying with Astrowonder.

 

Did you find any difference between Astrowonder and KPASTRO 3.0 regarding cuspal positions and planetary positions for same input value. I did not find any difference.

Obliquity is tilting of earth's axis. All we know that earth is 23 1/2 degree tiliting. It is taken for calculation in all softwares including the software in which you are using.

For the birth chart TMP2, I have used the KPNA(2003) ayanamsa value 22.48.07. Mr.Tin Win has used 22.48.06 in KPASTRO 3.0. Values are same.

 

In the progression chart TMP3 also, the same KPNA(2003) ayanamsa value 22.48.07 is used. The value is printed in the chart itself. There is no difference in dasa balance. DBAS are same for both the charts.

 

I am not able to understand how you are telling that I have used the ayanamsa value 23.26.59. I have not used the ayanamsa value 23.26.59 for progression chart.

 

The DBAS for Moon on 27-10-1942 is Mars-Venus-Venus- Rahu

The Moon position in p.charts is Mars-Venus-venus- Rahu

 

The DBAS for Asc on 27-10-1942 is Moon-Sat-Sat- Jupiter

The Ascendant position in p.chart is Moon-Sat-Sat- Jupiter

 

The DBAS for Sun on 27-10-1942 is Jup-Rahu-Mer- Mer

The Sun position in p.charts is Jup-Rahu-Mer- Mer

Please tell me how you arrived the ayanamsa value 23.26.59.

In the software I am using has the facility to see the DBAS for all the planets and Ascendant with a clik of a button. The facility to rotate the chart with or without recalculation. The facility of transit chart and movement chart. If it is not available in KPASTRO 3.0, ask them to introduce these facilities.

It was the statement of Late Mr.N Mohan that except Astrowonder no one else is incorporating Obliquity.If they have done so it is very good.I dont have KPAstro3.0.So I cant check.And also I mentioned in my mail that all the SW are not using-may be some like JH and KPAstro
