Guest guest
Dear L.Y.Rao You are referring MGG Nair. In one of the articles, Mr.MGG Nair said that the Topocentric system is giving better results than Placidous system. Mr.MGG Nair¢s articles in A & A are based on KP straightline ayanamsa. I therefore once again insist that you read whatever I have requested you to read,carefully... It seems that we are arguing about who did what or who is correct...instead we should devote our time to discuss WHAT is right, not who is right... ! Krishnamurthi Padhdhati, like any science cannot and will not remain static, new and beter, more accurate, and path-breakng findings must make place for the old ... Guest guest
Dear Shri Dhanapalan-ji, What is this topocentric system? Is it the one recommended by Dr. Lahiri in his ephemeris, i.e. 15 degrees equally on either side of the cusp? Grateful if you can forgive my ignorance and kindly explain. Thanks and best regards. Guest guest
Dear Rajendran There are many system for house division. Sripathy method is being used by the vedic astrologers. There are many methods being followed by westerners. Placidious system is being followed about 50% of the westerners. The reliability of the Placidous system is only 50%. Mr.KSK has choosen the Placidious system because majority of the persons were using at that time. It is just like winning the candidate in election. The candidate can win even 40% of the total vote if there are more opponents. Like that only. I have also read in some place that the topocentic may give good results. From the internet I have downloaded some charts based on Topocentric. I have also read in the internet that there is one house system recently developed which is better than Placidious system. I will search in my collection, if found I will send you further details. Thank you Dhanabalan--- On Tue, 8/12/08, Madathil Rajendran Nair <madathilnair wrote: Madathil Rajendran Nair <madathilnair Re: Topocentric system Date: Tuesday, August 12, 2008, 4:37 AM Dear Shri Dhanapalan-ji,What is this topocentric system?
