If this is the response I am getting, you surely can draw your own conclusions. When we entered into the prediction techniques, we all did make mistakes and improved as we got along. Dhanabalan wants a squeaky clean system to start with. Since the world must move on, can other friends oblige?This is not the first time this group witnessed similar situations,those critics were eventually left behind in the sands of time. A genuine issue of one person may not be genuine issue to others. I am not criticizing any individual or any system. I point out the mistakes/drawbacks in the system for improvement. I am not a commercial astrologer. I do not want to learn astrology at the cost of the clients. I admit that my predictions went wrong in k.p.system. I have some more doubts in my mind about k.p. I will start to give prediction after getting clarified my doubts from the seniors. Mostly the commercial astrologers begins to give prediction to the public immediately they know something about astrology. After meeting many failures, some may study further and further to improve their knowledge in astrology at the cost of the clients. The clients are the sufferers. I have studied first the vedic astrology. Since there are many contradiction between the rishi/ sages, I got confused which is correct and which is not correct. Which one to take and which one to omit. I was told that the k.p. would give correct result and there was no confusion in k.p. So I have studied k.p. under the guidance of Mr.Gopal. I have collected about 50 birth charts of my relatives and friends whose history I know. But the predictions did not match with the actual. So, I have purchased KB books on cuspal links and studied. I have purchased the books on cuspal links from Devaraj of Chennai and studied. Not satifying with that, I attended the astrology classes conducted by Mr.Ponnaiah. So in total, I got confused with k.p. system. In every astrology meeting, I am the person asked many questions. But my questions were not answered because they themselves are not thorough in the system. I admit that my predictions went wrong in k.p.system. So I want to know how others are able to give correct predictions in k.p. system. I have studied Bhirugu Nandi Nadi system by R.G.Rao. In that system, there is no lagna and there is no dasa. This Nadi is purely based on transit. I am not satisfied with this nadi system. Then I have purchased Devakeralam(Chandrakala Nadi) books and I am studying. In Devakeralam, the sign is divided into 150 divisions. KP readers are sometimes confusing and that makes learning KP difficult. Having said that, I agree to Satish ji that you have to start focusing your practicals rather than just theory. If you are not a professional astrologer, like me, you need to start practicing on friends and family members charts. Without practical application, learning is impossible. It is just like you want to learn swimming by reading books without jumping into the water, how it is possible? If you have already done a some practical study and did not found results satisfactory, I would suggest you to post your past analysis in this forum. We will work together and try to figure out the missing areas. You have brought some important points about the readers and confusion in the readers to the forum, now it is time to have some real case studies. Answering requires some courage,wrong predictions is a natural process of evolution.We are always in the learning mode perhaps for our entire life time,if we still continue to learn Astrology. Fear of ridicule is probably Dhanabalan's problem,hence diffidence. I do not think any astrologer can claim his knowledge is complete or near complete.Predictions,correct or not, is a different ball game altogether,requiring a different mindset. Now coming to the point of this letter,now the question has turned to theory vs Practice. Anyone with scientific temper would know for certain they are inseparable. In fact Guruji has stated "analysis based on theory should be put to extensive test."(not exact words) Mere arguments for showing off is not going to help.Be it BTR or horary prediction or for that matter selecting significators of an event;we should venture predition and if that fails then we can investigate how it happened.Also taking into account planets that were effective for th fructification of the event should anlaysed. Then the forum members could actively and usefully participate. My humble request to Mr.Dhanapalan please think that readers of this forum are indeed knowledgible and undoubtedly some are professionals. Kindly bear this in mind. My request facilitator: there should be some limit to number of mail by a paricular member. Discrimination is better part of wisdom.
