Guest guest
1. There is no "correct" SW but "accurate" WS only. 2. There is no significant differences in the results of te commonly used SWs, particularly the Swiss ephemeris using SWs like KPAstro 3.0, Astro-Kundli, Jyotishya Deepika, as found in Msg#16101, 16006, 4218, 34177 of this group. 3. Therefore the ASTRO 3.3 can't give such kind of different result Cancer 25.18.49. Something should be wrong in the birth data entry, for instance 9:30 PM, 1st August 2008 (2:30 GMT, 2st August 2008), St. Louis/Missouri/USA, 38N38, 90W12 is entered for the ASTRO 3.3 and 8:30 AM (13:30 GMT), 2st August 2008 , St. Louis/Missouri/USA, 38N38, 90W12 is entered for other SWS. Here it's tricky that Time Zone is 6h West and 1h Day Light Savings Time and the net difference with GMT is 5h West. 4. The Moon position for 8:30 AM (13:30 GMT), 2st August 2008 , St. Louis/Missouri/USA, 38N38, 90W12 is: 1) Leo 25° 39' 12'' (Sayana) by Astrodienst, provider and user of the Swiss ephemeris after deducting the New KP Ayanamsa (2003) 23° 53' 12'' , the Nirayana position is Leo 1° 46' 0''; 2) Leo 1° 46' 02'' by KPAstro 3.0 using the New KP Ayanamsa (2003) 23° 53' 12'', always the same results as Astrodienst, the difference not more than 1-2 sec due to rounding. 5. After ajusting the ayanamsa difference of usually around 20 sec with the New KP Ayanamsa (2003) , the Astro-Kundli usually gives more or less the same result only with the difference of not more than around 17 sec. 6. So with the New KP Ayanamsa (2003) 23° 53' 12'', the Astro-Kundli is supposed to give the Moon position of Leo 1° 46' 02'' +/- 17 sec. Dear Swami ji, Could you kindly run the Astro-Kundli one more time for 8:30 AM (13:30 GMT), 2st August 2008 , St. Louis/Missouri/USA, 38N38, 90W12 to see whehter the Moon position is as mentioned in the above point 6, after adjusting the ayanamsa difference. Thank you. , "sunil gondhalekar" <sunilalaka wrote:>> dear madam,> i dont have other s/w,and i am using dr.karekar sw only.> i believe dr.karekar,so in my opinion karekar is correct.> in other sw correctin might have taken wrong> -sunil gondhaleklar> > > On 8/2/08, Sheetal ratnamalag wrote:> >> > Dear Sir> >> > I was looking for star at St. Louis/Missouri/USA.
