He also taught us that if the sub-lords of these 3 houses happen to signify the VIth,VIIIth or the XIIth,Gems,metals,colours indicated by them SHOULD NOT BE USED... Also it is always advisable to use the gem indicated by the sublord,firstly of the XIth,secondly the gem indicated by the Lagna,thirdly the IXth house,and fourthly the Xth house... The way Bejan Dharuwala sells on TV channels, makes on wonder, is this a gimmick to make money?Is there some study and research done? (of use and benefits).Personal experience, in 1992, I was advised by a very famous Calcutta astrologer to wear Pearl on a silver ring to get me good career and relieve me of stress of my govt exam preparation, that time I was in software field at a company in Hyderabad. In good faith I did not get anything for a year and also failed in my attempt of the exam, mostly I would attribute to non preparation. So one day in a whiff of a moment, I took the ring out and gave it to a lady, who was asking for alms, telling about a daughter to be married off etc. After that, definitely I had success, the way I wanted.What I follow now is, as my grandfather advised, don't wear the gold ring while asleep or travel. But it may strengthen of Hasten things to happen. You said while wearing a pearl you did not get the result but only after departing from the gem. Perhaps your significators were not ruling while you used the Gem. They ruled only after getting away from it. So in this case you cannot blame the Gem. Secondly, was realy a Pearl was benificial for you. Was it right prescription. Traditional astrologers prescribe according to Rasi of a person, invariably. Please check if it was right according to advice given my Mr. L.. Y.Rao. He has explained it basing on KP. I do hope this would work better. But please remember Gems will not alter your fortune or otherwise. Please chek out which one suits you. BUT when people report that they were benefitted by gems Poojaas, Mantras, Vratas (Fasts etc), I have no ground to challenge them, because I do not have knowledge to challenge them. BUT along with it, I have strong belief in astrology also, that everything is written in our charts, only a good skilled reader is required to read it.
