Combining Astrology and Numerology

I recently learnt of an approach that combines numerology and

astrology.I know of it broad outline, some of its reasoning but not

the full origins.

 

In numerology, normally the name selected is matched to the

birth/destiny number. As number 1 to 9 are ruled by a planet, it was

argued that the name number should be matched to the strong planets in

a natal chart, especially one whose significators are important.

 

So even if a person's birth/destiny number is 1 (ruled by the Sun) but

if the Sun is debilitated, the person should choose a name number that

is not number 1 based but of another planet that is stronger.

 

Does anyone know of the origins/references (books, etc) of such approach?
