Guest guest
Respected Owner, Contributors and readers of the group, I am a new member, and thank you for allowing me to join this group. As a beginner, I am learning from the discussions of the senior members since February. I am grateful to the experts who share their insights generously. Yesterday, a heavy downpour started at around 1240 hours after a sunny morning and continued for 25 minutes or so. Then it became a drizzle and finally stopped altogether at 1350 hours. After 10 minutes, clouds began to clear and the sun broke through at 1525 hours. Last night, out of curiosity, I plugged the data into the free JHora 7.02, with the following results: Location: Yangon, Myanmar 16N45 and 96E13 5 June 2008 Event, Time, Lagna, Star, Sgl-Stl-Sbl Rain starts, 1240, 29Le09, UPha, Su-Su-Ma Lets up and drizzle, 1305, 05Vi11, UPha, Me-Su-Me Stops altogether, 1350, 16Vi03, Hast, Me-Mo-Sa Clears up, 1400, 18Vi28, Hast, Me-Mo-Me Sun came out, 1525, 08Li40, Swat, Ve-Ra-Ra Not knowing what to do, I checked the houses of the chart for 1240 hours and found that the 12th house cusp is at 29Cn22 in Ashlesha with Sgl-Stl-Sbl being Mo-Me-Sa. It's the same 3 planets for the Lagna position at 1350 (Rain stops altogether). I got excited. From the chart cast for the time the rain starts, can I just look up the Sgl-Stl-Sbl of the 12th House Cusp, move the lagna to the nearest position with the same 3 planets as Sgl-Stl-Sbl and come up with the time the rain will stop? Maybe not. Things cannot be that simple. But I wanted to check. When I woke up this morning at around 0615 hours, it was already raining. So, I thought, maybe I could use the Ruling Planets to find out when this rain started, and work from there to find out when the rain would stop. JHora started up at 0633 hours and put the Lagna position at 05Ge26 in the star Mrig and the KP Pointer was Me-Ma-Su. The Ruling Planets were Me-Ma from Lagna, Me-Ju from Moon and Ve, the Day Lord. Me and Ju were retrograde. Their Starlords are Ma and Su. Maybe the Sun cancels the retrograde effects of Ju, but what to do with Ma? At this point, I noticed the rain had just stopped. The time was 0650 hours, with the Lagna at 09Ge20 in Ardr, the KP Pointer being Me-Ra-Ju. This is interesting because the Ruling planets were Me-Ma-Ju and Ma is the Starlord of Ra. Can I replace Ma with Ra without doing violence to KP rules? It seems as if the Ruling Planets were indeed saying something. Were they saying when the rain would stop, not when it started? But how do I know which is which? Or is all this just wrong? Perhaps I should have had a specific question and a horary number first without playing around like this? But this kind of exploration is fun too. Normally, I don't very much care for the rain. But I'm looking forward to it now. Maybe the rain will teach me something today. But until now, it's sunny in Yangon. Tha Htu from Myanmar
