Dear Kulkarniji,

I am very sorry, by mistake I mentioned Mars as lord of Mokshya sthana. Actually it is not mokshya sthana for spouse. But it is 6th lord for spouse it indicates suffering. Please don¢t read as mokshya sthana.

Here is my opinion on your doubts. Kindly send me your comments.

 

According to traditional system: -

Mars is situated in Gemini, 12th sign to Moon sign, Cancer. This is one of the combinations for Mangalik dosha. Conjunction of Moon and Mars in the same sign the dosho would have been cancelled. In the chart they are not conjoined. So there is no cancellation.

According to KP: -

Is Mars responsible for widowhood?

Mars is in the star of Rahu. Rahu is in the star of Kethu and Kethu occupies VIII. Mars is in the sub of Saturn lord of VIII. So in all respects Mars is connected with VIII. And this VIII house is one of the ¡marakasthanas¢ for her spouse, being 2nd to VII. Mars becomes active to give results of VIII only during its period and when it transits in significators of VIII or the Ascendant.

 

Maraka and badhaka significators for spouse: -

The Ascendant for her spouse is VII in Sagittarius. It is a common sign. So the badhakasthana is 7th from his Ascendant. It is the Ascendant of the native itself. The maraka sthanas are 2nd to VII i.e. VIII; and 7th to VII i.e.. the ascendant.

 

 

Significators of VIII : Venus, Rahu / Mercury, Kethu / Saturn

Significators of Asc. : Mercury

 

Mars has not come in the above significators. So Mars is not concerned with death of her spouse.

Sun, Moon and Jupiter are also do not signify as such.

Venus occupies own sub, Rahu in sub of Mercury, Mercury is in own sub, and Kethu is in Mercury sub and Saturn in own sub.

Now she is running mahadasa of Saturn that is a significator of maraka.

 

Now the native is running Kethu bhukti and Venus antara. She has passed through Saturn, Mercury, Kethu bhukti and Venus and Kethu antara of Venus bhukti. All are inflictors of demise.

Mangal is not responsible for her widowhood. I think I need not go farther in this regard.

 

Second marriage: -

VII cusp sub-lord is Mars not Mercury. Mars is in the star of Rahu in Leo, not a dual sign. So there is no question of second marriage.. Of course Mars is in Gemini, a dual sign but this is not strong enough.
