How to prepare a ready recknoer for horary numbers 1 to 249

for a particular place. Is there any book or software?

I have written a quick software for your need on AstroSage.com for Horary number table generation. Please check and let me know is it what you were looking for? Please note that it is still in testing phase, so you can expect some glitches. Especially at present it uses only KP new ayanamsa.

Sir,

As a beginner, working out frequently is a cumbersome

act. Even CRBhat has recommended to prepare a ready

reckoner for this type. Thanks. But leaners will

become lazy with such ready recokner. For me I am 71+

so need it as a beginner.

Just to verify the coordinates of Kakinada,Andhra

Pradesh,where I now reside,I checked Astrosage.com in Panchang

section.

 

The geographical coordinates are quitw different from others.

 

Kakinada coordinates are 16-57N,82-13E. Your chart it says 16-59N/82-

20E. These are quite divergent. Is it possible the data is erroneous.

Since it is in development stage, you may kindly examine.

Dear sir,

I also has two copies of UTOH.

Question was about ready reckoner for particular place that could be used for erecting chart for a number given.

I agree UTOH is enough for working house cusp for a given number too, but i thought, Questioner wants ready rekoner to be kept in pocket for doing horary, if he has panchang/ ephemeries with him.

Many yeras ago, i did the same thing when Panchang pages were in A & A magazine.

Incidently i have all four UTOH,Raphels ,RE Manu tables and Krishmans.

Unfortunate situation is calculation with all the four differ, but border cases are rare and affect only longitude of non angular houses.

Computers have made manual methods redundant.

I have prepared Table of Houses for Horary for my place. If one has a reliable and accurate SW one can prepare for ownself. whether you prepare one or purchase you have to check if it gives correct prediction. In my case I am satisfied with my own.

Dear Satish ji,

 

Maintaining a database of all the places in the world is very time and effort taking process. I would be more than happy if somebody can provide that to me. Though for the time being to overcome that, I have given feature to provide your own latitude/ longitude on the page. So you can now generate table for your own latitude.

Go to http://www.astrosage.com/horarytable.asp and you will find place to enter latitude/ longitude at the bottom of the page. Once you enter latitude/ longitude, you can click on " generate table " to generate new table based on your entry.

Purely academic,....Within India, how much variation

occurs in the Horary table(1-249),from place to place.. would the

variations come in sub or sub sub level?
