Guest guest
Hello all, just doing some reading, I am at page 41 of KP/R-1/P-41 and could not help but stop to think about how puzzling it appears to me. Since we use the Niryana system for KP would it not apply to the transit of the signs on a daily basis as well? It's the same for calculation of the V-dasa etc, but then why different for transit of signs? Here is what raised my eyebrows... In the last paragraph it states: For example, Aries takes 112 minutes and Gemini 129 minutes.... it then goes on to state in the next line " Aries takes 80 minutes and Gemini 118 minutes.... Can there be any further clarity shed on this? Is there a fixed system that will help everyone to calculate the rising sign at any given time of day or night... Right now it's about 12:30am hence we should be in Dhanus now, it should end at about 2AM then Makara, Mumbham, Meena and then finally Mesha...? Thanks, J
