Ruling Planets - The application part - Basics.

Dear Friends,

 

The Ruling Planets method is not meant to check genuinity of a querent or such

matters. This is meant to make a choice when multiple options are available.

 

This is also used to predict in absence of the Panchanga or Computer or any

statistical data at access or in hand, and make a quick assessment of any query

when faced suddenly by a astrologer. Of course to make such quick assessment

one has to have the knowledge of the Lagna change positions in his city, while

also the Moon is placed in which star and Raashi, which probably is not a far

fetched requisite for an astrologer of worth.

 

Here the predictions and timing of the event is done on the fingers without use

of paper, pencil or calculator.

 

I remember last year when my daughter got married and we had been invited to the

reception from the boys side at Saharanpur, my son in law next day at lunch,

remarked casually that he has lost his Gold ring with a Ruby on it. Though I

never had a Panchanga in my pocket and neither the Lagna positions of

saharanpur, but I predicted successfully within the next moment that you should

mostly find your ring before sunset. And he did find it for he called en route

to Jaipur that evening, while myself and wife were travelling back to delhi, his

call came in giving the good news.

 

My Guruji from whom I learnt Krishnamurthy Padhati, he would using just one set

of RP's rectify the birth timings of 3-4 Birth Charts, and all Live, with a

chalk and a blackboard with no use of calculator. But that is too advanced

astrology.

 

Example of applying Ruling Planets -

 

Coming Friday suppose you are going for a evening walk at around 7.00 pm and you

meet an old friend who knowing that you are an astrologer narrates his woes

saying that his daughter is not getting married and asks you if you can tell him

whether she can be married this year.

 

You will think for a moment while continuing walking, and tell her that yes she

will be married this year .Not only this you will also tell her the dates when

she is most likely to get married.

 

How ?

 

This would be due to the Karaka Venus appearing twice in the List of Ruling

Planets which tells you that marriage is for sure this year. (This type of

Query the normal effect or span is taken one year base within which the event

may either take place or not). How will you time the event. Normally the Sun is

taken as the pointer for the event on a monthly basis. You will ahve to check

which signs Lorded by the Planets appearing in Ruling planets, the Sun is going

to transit in, through the next 12 months. Now if You check the RP's (Ruling

Planets) at 7.00pm they are Venus, Ketu, Mars, Venus again, so your work is less

now. You just check the signs, Taurus, Libra, Aries and Scorpio when the Sun

would be transiting through them in the next 12 months, and not only this but

Sun also transiiting in the Nakshatra of any of the planets mentioned in the

RP's. This would give you the time of marriage.

 

The above can be done on the fingers, because one is expected to know Sun signs

throughout the 12 months which is the very basics of astrology, one is also

expected to know the degrees ruled by which Nakshatras and who is the owner. The

Sun does not change course and always comes in the same signs at same dates

(Almost) and transits through same nakshatras every year .

 

Now can anyone tell me the time of marriage for this native for whom we are

talking about ? Now one has also to use commonsense here. Suppose Sun is in

Taurus this month itself, then you have to bypass Taurus because possibly his

daughter could not be enagged and married too within such a short time. What

probable set of dates would you suggest to your friend whom you met in the park

?
