Courseware for Jyotish

Hello,

I am looking at creating a set of multi-media courseware for learning Jyotish by

individuals who are not familiar with Jyotish for Free.

 

I am looking to collaborate with some experts in this project. The benefits are:

 

a) You will be prominently acknowledged as Author/Editor;

b) You will get a honorarium for your contribution;

c) You will get an opportunity to interact with the learners;

 

I am looking for experts in any and every topic of Jyotish, but more

specifically the following:

 

1) Astronomy (as relevant to Astrology);

2) Philosophy of Astrology;

3) Panchanga (including comparative history of calendars);

4) Muhurtha

5) Dasha System

6) Transits

7) Divisional Charts

8) Ashtakvarga

9) Yogas

10) Varshaphala

11) Prashna

12) Guna Milap (Matching of Horoscopes)

 

The content will be presented in multi-media format using one or more of the

following:

 

a) Powerpoint Presentations;

b) Slide Shows

c) InfoGraphics (information presented graphically)

d) Video

e) Interactive Charts

 

Your contribution can be in one of the following areas:

 

a) Preparation of the Pedagogy (style & strategy of Instruction);

b) Table of Contents

c) Content in Text form (Hindi or English)

d) Content in Graphical Form (Tables, images etc.)

e) Content in Audio/video form

f) Editing of Content

 

Although the courseware is being offered free to the learners, I do have a

budget for development of the courseware.

 

If you are interested, kindly drop an email to raj with your

specific interest area and your profile.

 

I expect to kick start this project in the first week of May 2009 and launch

phase I on 15th Aug 2009.
