Guest guest
Dear friends, Do You know that with our Andcient indian Knowledge of " Surya Siddhanta " we can calculate the position of the planets on any given date,of any year in the past or future (Any date after Chaitra Shukla Pratipada Shake 1826), without use of telescope, or moving out of a closed room, and without the use of ephemeris, or any external (Or Internal) means of locating or mapping the planetary positions in the sky. The planetary position for any planet can be calculated within 15 minutes without referring to any Ephemeris, Data, Computer or Book with closed eyes and a assistant who can use a calculator and note down on a piece of paper what is being mentioned . This position thus calculated should be similiar to the Rapheals ephemeris or any more accurate one within just 1-2 minutes difference (Not degrees). is this possible ? Yes this is. With our ancient knowledge applied, with help of few shlokas and formulas, one can blind folded with help of a assistant (Anyone who knows how to use a scientific calculator) calculate the planetary positions of any date after Shake 1826. Those who are interested in same, may take an appointment with me in Bombay, in advance, and they will be shown a method how to do this, alongwith illustrations and formulas of the same. But they should be well versed in the Indian knowledge of Hindu Lunar months, adhika maas etc. regards/Bhaskar.
Guest guest
Dear Bhaskar, Mr. Vinay Jha has worked extensively on the Surya Siddhanta and has been kindly describing his project and software in several fora, including this one. He is a busy person but hopefully he would be able to comment on this ancient method of calculation. Mr. Jha has a site with lot of information. You may find more details if you study his postings here or on VA or J_R. Remarkable scholar and person. Guest guest
Dear Shri RR ji, I have communicated with the gentleman before, and read his exchanges in the various Groups. There is much to study in this world and even a 100 life times would be less, to rad the knowledge available here. I am basically a astrologer and not a Panchang maker, so extensive studies in such areas would not be my forte. What method I am talking about, is conclusive, and result oriented. This method is not required to be used in these times of today, when we already have hundreds of machines doing calculation for us. The only reason this method is taught through parampara, is to keep it alive, lest it get lost. regards, Bhaskar. , " Rohiniranjan " <jyotish_vani wrote: > > Dear Bhaskar, > > Mr. Vinay Jha has worked extensively on the Surya Siddhanta and has been kindly describing his project and software in several fora, including this one. Guest guest
Dear Shri RR ji, I just know this much that any knowledge professed to be so, must lead one to some Tathya or fact which is palpable and tangible. For instance any lecture listened to from a person talking on how to make various dishes , must lead the listener to be able to prepare a dish when he or she reaches home after the lecture is over. Or anybody presenting an lengthy essay on astrological analysis as post martem results on how the Stock indexes have moved and why, must lead one to be able to reasonably predict the movement of the same in near future too. Or anybody downloading a software for free, must be able to execute the exe.command and manage to use the software. Any knowledge which is of use in Life, is knowledge applied. Rest is a time waste. Good to see you here. Its been a long time since I have shared a common platform with you. regards/Bhaskar. , " Rohiniranjan " <jyotish_vani wrote: > > Dear Bhaskar, > > Mr. Vinay Jha has worked extensively on the Surya Siddhanta and has been kindly describing his project and software in several fora, including this one.
