How could these be traced in a Birth Chart? -Sharada.. Ans:: These could be traced to the 11th house of the Birth Chart, along with various Desa periods to be gone through by the Natal, under Vimshothri Desa Rules. I will give some of relevant Slokas to strengthen the ¡tracing¢ of these in your question. In ¡Jathaka Parijatha¢ Sloka : 67 you will find the following: Labhasthanena lagnadhakkila dhanachaya praptimischethi sarve Labhasthanopayatha : sakalabhalayutha: kecharo viththdha: syath | Bhanuscheygjaathivarghadhathee Dhanamutuupo mathuruvargenna Bhouma : SwoththachaamDrrirya Deeshtaprabhuvibhudhasuhrunmaathulayirvithamethi ||67|| This explains :: It is through the 11th bhava from the Lagna in a Birth Chart that every accumulation of incoming wealth is expected. The Planet in the 11 Bhava when possessed of full strength is capable of giving wealth. If the Sun be such a planet, much wealth is derived by the Natal from parental kinsfolk; If it is Moon, from maternal relations; If Mars, from personal exertion; If Mercury occupies the 11th Bhava with full strength, wealth comes to the person from his master, a discerning friend or a maternal uncle. The same is said by ¡Jathaka Rathana¢ and also in ¡Jathakabharana¢. Jupiter in 11th Bhava when in full strength gives lot of wealth through spiritual learning, teaching, preaching, and through worthy sons. Venus in the same position placed powerfully, secures accession to riches through females and through knowledge and serving fine arts such as poetry dramas, music and public performances of entertainment. Saturn, when placed powerfully in the 11th house from Lagna, gives abundance of wealth in many ways including great yields in agriculture, while employing many as his workers. Again, If the Planet occupying the 11th bhava in a birth chart, be a benefic, the person bon will acquire wealth in fare means. The same wealth will be ill-gotten if the Planet in that bhava is a malefic in that house of occupation. It is also noted that if the occupants in the 11th Bhava are possibly a benefic and the other a malefic, then the wealth earned will be of mix3ed nature. (Astrologer must very carefully study to say the nature of earning the wealth before pronouncing the same!) When the Planet in the 11th Bhava is strong, to prevail more3 friendly, to the lord of that house, the person will possess admirable qualities, and will be blessed with all amenities and satisfy his ambitions and elevations in life, while he will be learned. Further, if the lord of 11th house - bhava - and lord of 2nd house be friendly to lord of Lagna, the wealth of the person will be donated to benefit of society at large as well as to the progress of his religion and good works. Conversely, if the planet in the 11th bhava be weak or in Planetary war in that house of occupation, or depressed, or the lord of an inimical sign - a dusthana - are in ¡Reka Yoga¢ the person concerned will have to beg all his life. The lord of the 11 bhava be the Sun or the Moon, the person born, will acquire wealth progress, growth, and comfort by serving a King, a Leader or a wealthy person. If it is Mars, then he will be wealthy through the favors of highly placed wealthy leaders, or a brother who is already rich, are by agriculture produce and trading. If it is Mercury, it will be through Knowledge, relations, sons. If it is Jupiter, the person will gain lot of wealth due to his involvement in serving society in religion and spreading the values of life and observance of religious duties. If Venus own the 11th Bhava, the riches will easily walk into him through women, finding and trading in precious stone and metals, Vehicles, animals, Elephants, Horses and the like. Will the placement of the 11th House in Dushthanas affect the wealth?
