To All:

In one of the chapters in the SB, we find the story which relate about

Krishna and his brother, Balarama, being pursued by an evil king.

Instead of fighting, they decided to run onto a mountain top for

shelter and safety. The evil king then determined that the best way to

eliminate Krishna and his brother was to burn the surrounding forest of

the mountain.

As the fires raged that would have killed mere humans, Krishna and

brother decided to leap from the mountain top and landed 88 miles away

to safety.

From my own understanding, this story appears to be addressing the 88th

navamsha. If one calculates this position, it will end up in the same

position as the 64th navamsha. As most jyotishis know, the 64th

navamsha is a malefic location for any planets, and the graha ruling

the navamsha is considered malefic as well.

This story also gives a clue that for this specific challenge in life,

there is a solution. We can interpret how this can be done from the

narrative itself.

Regards,

John R.

Namaste Sreeram,

I obtained this story from the SB translated by Srila AC

Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada. The story is on page 114, 10th

Canto, Part Two. This particular book does not show the original

sanskrit slokas. At this time, I do not have any information why the

translator did this.

If anyone has information about the rationale behind this translation

of the story, please let us know.

Regards,

John R.

Dear Mr. John ji,

In mythology there is only one instance where Lord Krishna avoids

fighting his challenger {do not remember the name} i.e. King Jarasandh

after being beaten few times by Lord Krishna, seeks help of a another

king who is blessed for Winning against anyone......this challenger gets

killed when he disburbs sleep of a king turned rishi in that mountain

cave. The astro_reason for Lord Krishna / Lord Balarama not killing

King Jarasandh in all his recuperated attacks - that the 7 people born

in same astro_nakshatra combinations ONLY ONE is ardained to survive -

Bhima, Duryodhana, Jarasandha, Bakasura, Keechaka. Hidimbaka, Seventh

Name ...I do not recall......

When Wax House fire incident, Kauravas thought it was end of Pandavas,

till the BBC news came about Bakasura's death raising suspicions of

Survival of fittest - Pandavas. Then again in Year Long Agnathavasa -

{Incognito Period}, death of Prince Keechaka, raises suspicions of

Pandavas.......etc. this time it was CNN news.... then finally when

Jarasandha was killed... it was Al Jazeerah News......non-stop.....

It is odd, that Lord Krishna & Lord Balarama...both ran for their

lifes...... when throughout mythology - it was one of them stood by to

fight.....to WIN.

Thank you for the references given......

With regards,

Sreeram_Srinivas
