Question about Rahu's Aspects

I am a little confused about the proper Vedic aspects to use for Rahu,

particularly in connection with determining foreign influences in Rasi

and divisional charts, such as possible relocation to another country.

For example, I have seen it strongly stated that Rahu aspects the

4th, 5th and 12th houses from it. Due to its normal retrograde moton,

the 12th would actually be the 2nd one from Rahu's house.

Dear Gandalfaragorn,

 

It is said that Rahu aspects 5th and 9th houses from itself. Any exact aspect

with planets in these houses will result in their conjunction in D9- confirming

that there is no easy aspect with Rahu!

Sure, it's 12th and 2nd are affected.

I usually don't look at fourth H , unless:

a/ Moon is placed there /in which case Astotari Dasa/ Vimsottari variation

applicable when Rahu is either in trine or quadrant with Rahu

b/ aspect /square/ happens in angular houses.
