Regarding John McCain's birth time, please see the following .pdf file that was shared on my list (Astrology Research on MSN) by my manager, Ron Gaunt. His seventh house from lagna and eighth from Moon is activated in double transit of Saturn and Jupiter. Me is debilitated in navamsa and so is Jupiter. Amatya karaka is Jupiter in tenth house. He is running chara dasa of Dhanus-Mesha (Sagi-Aries). Amk Jupiter is in 12th from Sagi and is in eighth from Aries. This shows weakness not strength. Nonetheless, I got another lagna for McCain-- Kanya, based on birth data information from a western astrology website. As a Kanya ascendant, Mercury is exalted in the first house. This would account for McCain's earlier profession as a naval aviator. However, Mercury is debilitated in the navamsha. Therefore, he was shot down by the Vietnames from the skies of Hanoi. Also, his Mars is debilitated which would account for his fiery temperament and contributed to his torture while in prison. Given the chart, it is not likely that McCain will win the election. Hopefully this will remove all confusion. It is too late to predict anything IMHO. One's thinking now will clearly be influenced by polls - give any lagna to Mccain now, astrologers will predict he will lose. Obama's birth time is 7:24pm - clear from his BC that is produced by his own campaign. I still see that some people are predicting his victory based on libra lagna. My fundamental question is how can somebody stick to libra lagan even after knwowing that Obama's lagna is capricorn? I have more confidence in Biden's chart that is destined for a higher position that what he has now. Regarding Palin's chart - does anybody know her BC? Is it posted somewhere? Please share. With Virgo lagna to her - I feel that her husband has to come from a higher status family - I am not sure if he is from a very well to do family or has some gifted talent? But nobody checked this or some ignored it. Now we know that it is capricorn lagna based on his birth chart and that can explain daughters with an exalted moon in fifth showing daughters. Jupiter is hugely malefic for this asc, and we already know he had cancer growth on his face. In addition there is still connection of water routes with L3 Mars in Cancer, and Moon aspecting from twelfth house, natural house of sea. Tenth from tenth is vargottama Sun, profession of father, giving him official high government status, aspected by Saturn, Moon's dispositor--sea links for his father's career? Second house (clothes) ruler, Jupiter, is disposited by Mars showing military uniform in tenth house of career for McCain etc......... I often use kalapurusa in this way to help rectify a chart, especially when the asc is in last or first degree. Looking at connections with body parts and planets can often clinch which sign the asc should be in. You can even work backwards from a mole on a person's body to find out what part of day they were born before starting to find the exact time. As above, so below also means ''as below, so above'' using this method.It is much more scientific than any other method I have read of for trying to establish chart corrections. I still stand by my own prediction that Obama will win the election, but I have no vested interest in the whole affair. I am beginning to feel the planets vote in leaders, not the electorate! - M.
