I turned on TV at 10:10 pm EDT to note the time of Barack Obama's nomination

acceptance myself. Barack Obama's biography informercial was running on the big

screen then. He came on stage in a few minutes. He started speaking a little

after 8:14 pm PDT. I was hoping he would speak for 5-10 minutes before declaring

his acceptance of nomination. Unfortunately, he jumped to it right away. The

time when he declared his acceptance was a few seconds before 8:15 pm MDT.

 

At 8:15 pm, the lagna in Denver was 29 deg 57 min in Aq. Basically, lagna was

right on the border of Aq and Pi.

 

It is not at all a good idea to do something important at a deep rasi sandhi. If

he waited 10 min and done it cleanly in Pi lagna, it would have been a terrific

muhurta. Now the muhurta is terrible instead. It is at rasi sandhi; lagna lord

Saturn is in inimical sign with enemy Sun; and, 8th house is very strong

containing 10th lord.

 

This muhurta does not help his cause.

 

Now, let us see when John McCain accepts his nomination.

You're scaring me. I read your 7/23/08 article on Obama's & McCain's

birth times (I'm the one who sent you Barack's 7:24 birth time in

June) and your prediction of McCain winning. And now this bad muhurta

for his acceptance!

 

Have you rectified Biden's chart yet? I have his birth data as

11/20/42, 8:40 am, Scranton, PA, +4 EWT. His TP chart for this year

looks good. Please give us the benefit of your analysis.

The way I look at it, his party nominated him officially the previous day. The

moment he announced his acceptance in front of 90,000 people and a huge TV

audience, he became the democratic candidate. The masterly speech he delivered

was the first speech as the official candidate of the party. Signing papers,

delivering the signed papers to whichever government organization oversees all

these matters, verification of papers, approval of signed papers by the

officials etc are all secondary.

 

In any case, assume that 9:33 pm is the actual time. I am afraid even that is

not that great. Yogas in navamsa are secondary. Rasi is primary. Lagna is in

gandanta. Though not deep, this is still gandanta. Moreover, lagna lord Mars in

in 6th house and he is with two benefics. The two badhaka lords afflicts 5th and

10th. This does not seem all that rosy to me.

 

However, we don't know yet what muhurta John McCain will use. Let us wait and

see.

2004, it was not like I personally wanted that.

 

Honestly though, I have too small a brain to decide which candidate's election

If there is a rasi sandhi at the time of starting a Muhurtha, but if

the Lagna lord, Jupiter, is in its own sign and retrograde, is it

still considered a bad time to start...?
