Planetary Transits for August 21 – August 27

 

Sun transits Leo, from 04:32 to 11:17°. Sun is strong and outside the

influence of other planets. This should be very good for leaders and

governments.

 

Moon is waning and transits Pisces, Aries, Taurus, Gemini and into Cancer.

 

Mars transits Virgo, from 07:09 to 11:38°, and is outside the influence of

other planets. This should be good for copper, real estate, executives, the

military, police, and firefighters.

 

Mercury transits out of Leo and into Virgo, Aug. 24, and is weak until Aug.

28. Mercury is closely conjunct Venus until Sept. 22. Taurus, Scorpio, and

Pisces rising signs should be careful and patient.

 

Jupiter transits its own sign, Sagittarius, from 19:03 to 18:44°. Jupiter is

retrograde until Sept. 7.

 

Venus transits out of Leo and into Virgo, Aug. 25, and is weak until Aug.

29. Venus is conjunct Mercury until Sept. 22. Aries, Libra and Aquarius

rising signs should be careful and patient.

 

Saturn transits Leo, from 16:11 to 17:04°, and is under the aspect of

Jupiter until mid-Dec. Taurus, Cancer, and Capricorn rising signs should be

careful and patient.

 

Rahu and Ketu transit Capricorn and Cancer, respectively, stationary in the

24° range until Sept. 18. Persons with “even” rising signs (Taurus, Cancer,

Virgo, Scorpio, Capricorn, and Pisces) and planets in “even” signs around

24° should be extra careful and patient. (Note: Senator Barack Obama is a

Capricorn rising sign in the 24° range. This is not ideal, as Rahu and Ketu

are having an impact in six of his twelve houses.)

 

Transits for each “Rising sign” (not “Sun sign”):

 

Aries: Expect good news with your children, education and investments. Focus

on your health and finances, and being of service to others. There may be

health, conflict or financial issues related to your marriage and

partnerships through Sept. 22. Avoid debts and disputes through Sept. 25.

 

Taurus: Expect good news with your parents, property and home life. Be

patient with any conflict, financial or health issues related to your

children, education and investments. Focus on research and mystical

knowledge through Nov. Work out of your home or on your home through Sept.

2009.

 

Gemini: Expect good news related to your own efforts, communications,

younger siblings, and entrepreneurial activities. Home life, creative

projects and investments should also do well. There may be gains connected

with parents, property, and housing. Consider marriage and partnerships.

 

Cancer: Expect good news with your wealth, status, and family life. Your own

efforts, parents, property and home life should also do well. Connect your

career with independence and your own initiatives. Focus on your health and

finances through Nov., and spirituality for the next 15 months.

 

Leo: Expect some good news and take a leadership position. Most everything

is going your way. There is even good fortune with your wealth, status, and

family life. Speak directly and with courage. Especially focus on your

children, education, investments, and creative project through Nov.

 

Virgo: Expect good news with long distant ventures and consider going on a

spiritual retreat. Be patient with setbacks and obstructions, and be careful

to avoid accidents. Your health, wealth, status and family life improve

soon. Focus on your parents, property, and home life through Nov.

 

Libra: Expect good news with your income, friends, and older siblings. Be

patient with any losses, expenses or separations. Consider a spiritual

retreat, or long distant venture. Your spouse or partner may have expenses,

confinement or long distant travel. Focus on your own efforts through Nov.

 

Scorpio: Expect good news with your career and professional life. Take a

leadership position and connect with authority figures. Be patient with any

losses or expenses with your income, friends, and older siblings through

Sept. 22. Focus on your status, family life and consulting role through Nov.

 

Sagittarius: Expect good news and good fortune in general, and especially

due to your own efforts and communications. Your career and income should

also be doing well. Connect your children, education, and investments with

your professional life. Teach, publish and advise through Nov.

 

Capricorn: There may be some windfall or even marriage for some of you.

Expect good news with your career and general good fortune after Aug. 25.

There may also be some good fortune with your parents, property and home

life. Continue to focus on research and mystical knowledge.

 

Aquarius: Expect good news related to marriage and partners. On the other

hand, be patient with your guru, father and spiritual progress, and manage

setbacks connected with your own initiatives. Research and occult knowledge

are just around the corner. Teach, publish, and advise through Nov.

 

Pisces: Expect good news with your health, finances and legal matters. There

may be some status through relationships, but these are still subject to

delays and obstructions. Tell your partner to be careful to avoid accidents.

Continue to focus on your career, publishing, teaching and advisory roles.
