Guest guest
Planetary Transits for the Total Solar Eclipse There will be a total eclipse of the Sun on Aug. 1, which will be visible from a narrow corridor that traverses half the Earth. (This is the “midnight Sun” eclipse, as it is visible primarily from regions that experience a “midnight Sun”.) The path of the eclipse begins in Canada and extends across northern Greenland, the Arctic, central Russia, Mongolia, and China, where it will end at sunset. Only a partial eclipse will be seen in northeastern North America, and most of Europe and Asia. The beginning of the general eclipse is 08:04; the beginning of the total eclipse is 09:11; the greatest eclipse is 10:21; the end of the total eclipse is 11:21; and the end of the general eclipse is 12:38. All times are UT, which is 7 hours ahead of PDT; 6 hours ahead of MDT; 5 hours ahead of CDT; and 4 hours ahead of EDT. It is generally advised to stay indoors, fast or eat lightly, and to meditate during an eclipse. Additionally, the total solar eclipse is followed by a partial lunar eclipse on Aug. 16. Take extra care and patience during this two-week period. Sun is in Cancer at 15:33°. Moon is in Cancer at 15:38°. Mars is in Leo at 24:42°. Mercury is in Cancer at 18:27°. Jupiter is in Sagittarius at 20:41°. Venus is in Leo at 00:10°. Saturn is in Leo, at 13:48°. Rahu is in Capricorn at 24:32°. Ketu is in Cancer at 24:32°. Note: I am still on vacation. Guest guest
Hope you have a good break David. I took a look at the eclipse yesterday and what it portended in mundane affairs, looking at tropical position. It forms in Leo is not good or royals and government leaders and it is noteworthy that at the last eclipse in Leo Pinochet was on trial for war crimes against humanity, and at this eclipse Bosnian leader Karadzic is also deported to the Hague today, to face trial for war crimes during his role in the ethnic cleansing of Bosnian Serbs. In the UK this last week the leader Gordon Brown has been under attack due to he landslide loss at the recent election in Scotland where Labour lost a long held seat in the local election. Many members of his party are calling for him to go and or a new leader to be chosen. the eclipse in Leo (tropical) also brings fires and recently, leading up to the eclipse there was a fire on a famous pier in Weston Super Mare, though I expect more similar headlines about fires in the months to come when Sun and malefic are in malefic aspect to eclipse degree. The eclipse falls in eleventh house of the cabinet in local mundane chart and warns of changes at cabinet level, demise of a royal prince or relative, and marriage of a politician, and indeed a politician did marry recently--at the weekend I believe---to his gay partner. Due to Mercury and Venus being close by in eleventh it also augurs the award to the region of the right of inhabitants to use the flag without need for permission. this hard won right was only granted this past few days, after someone in Yorkshire was taken to court and told to take down the flag in his garden. He took the case to a higher court and won the case, as the court acknowledged that the flag was of heraldic value and helped locals retain traditional pride in its heritage. It is an emblem most Yorkshire born people are proud of, as it is reminiscent of the historic wars of the roses, an important historical event between Yorkshire and Lancashire, so the flag is a badge or emblem of merit and honour as seen in the eleventh house at this eclipse. the rose is white as is Venus in eleventh and on a blue background signified perhaps by Mercury, both planets in eleventh with sun/moon royal insignia. best wishes M - David Hawthorne Wednesday, July 30, 2008 4:24 PM Planetary Transits for the Total Solar Eclipse Planetary Transits for the Total Solar Eclipse There will be a total eclipse of the Sun on Aug. 1, which will be visible from a narrow corridor that traverses half the Earth. Guest guest
Dear Marg: Thanks for your email. I also suspect that the impact of the eclipse is greatest where it is seen... So I think there will be some unusual activity this year for the royal persons and governments of: Canada, Greenland, Russia, Mongolia, and China. Best wishes, David Hawthorne On Behalf Of Marg Wednesday, July 30, 2008 11:30 AM Re: Planetary Transits for the Total Solar Eclipse Hope you have a good break David.
