Planetary Transits for May 1 – May 6

 

Sun transits its exaltation sign, Aries, from 17:13 to 24:00°, and is weak

due to the debilitation of its dispositor, Mars.

 

Moon transits Aquarius, Pisces, Aries, Taurus, and into Gemini. The new Moon

is in Aries, May 5, at 6:18 a.m. CDT. Moon, in Taurus is exalted, May 6 –

May 7.

 

Mars transits its debilitation sign, Cancer, from 01:27 to 05:08°. Mars is

under the aspect of Jupiter until May 4, and is in its debilitation sign

until June 21. (Vulnerable significations include: the military, police,

property, fires, floods, surgery, explosions, tornadoes, earthquakes.)

 

Mercury transits Taurus, from 03:09 to 14:23°, and is under the aspect of

Saturn until May 6. Cancer, Virgo, and Pisces rising signs should be

careful and patient.

 

Jupiter transits its mooltrikona sign, Sagittarius, from 28:17 to 28:23°.

Jupiter is under the aspect of Mars until May 4, and is weak in old age

state until June 27. Taurus, Virgo, and Scorpio rising signs should be

careful and patient.

 

Venus transits Aries, from 06:49 to 15:25°, and is weak due to the

debilitation of its dispositor, Mars.

 

Saturn transits Leo, from 07:42 to 07:44°, and completes its 4 ½ month

retrograde motion. This may be a positive sign for gas, oil, and mineral

issues.

 

Rahu and Ketu transit out of Aquarius and Leo, (where they have been since

Nov. 8, 2006). They enter Capricorn and Cancer, respectively, on May 5,

(where they will remain until Nov. 2, 2009). It would be good to be careful

and patient during this phase transition.

 

Transits for each “Rising sign” (not “Sun sign”):

 

Aries: Focus on your parents, property, and home life through June 21, and

take some extra rest. Keep your attention on marriage, partners, children,

education and investments. Consider oil, gas, minerals, antiques and

long-distant ventures are possible. Be direct and kind. There is good

fortune with industrial activities. Home and property expenses are possible.

 

Cancer: Continue to focus on your career, and turn up the creativity.

Beautiful the workplace or buy that new company car. Get organized and be

competitive. There are gains through your own efforts and initiatives. Put

business and communications to work for you, including writing and

brokering.

 

Leo: Exercise a lot of patience through mid-May. There may be losses,

expenses, confinement, separations, and long-distant travel or ventures.

These can be connected with your own efforts and initiatives. Focus on your

career, writing, business, communications, and the stock market.

 

Virgo: Focus on dharma and spirituality, but be careful and patient. There

may be losses, expenses, confinement, or separations with your health,

debts, conflict, and long distant ventures. Focus on research, mysticism and

the marital bond. Get rest and manage insomnia.

 

Libra: Focus on marriage and partners. These are connected with gains,

income, and your career, but be careful and patient. Insomnia, losses and

expenses are possible. Gain through oil, gas, and minerals, education,

investments, and creative industrial projects.

 

Scorpio: Expect improvement with debts, health, and conflicts over the past

seven months, but be patient through mid-June. Gain through marriage and

partners. Be careful in the workplace to avoid fire, theft, debts, and

disputes. These are connected with losses and expenses.

 

Sagittarius: Take care of your children, education and investments, which

are subject to delays, setbacks, obstructions, vulnerability and accidents.

Focus your career on being of service, and be careful to avoid fire, theft,

Capricorn: Beautify your home and consider that new car. There is good

Pisces: Focus on entrepreneurial activities and partnerships. Write, buy,
