Planetary Transits for April 17 – April 23

 

Sun transits its exaltation sign, Aries, from 03:35 to 10:25°.

 

Moon transits Leo, Virgo, Libra and into Scorpio. The full Moon is in Libra,

April 20.

 

Mars transits Gemini, from 24:22 to 27:51°. Mars remains in Gemini until

April 28, and is under the aspect of Jupiter until May 4. Taurus, Cancer,

and Capricorn rising signs should be careful and patient.

 

Mercury transits Aries from 04:36 to 19:24°, April 14. Mercury is combust

until April 28.

 

Jupiter transits its mooltrikona sign, Sagittarius, from 27:37 to 28:01°.

Jupiter is under the aspect of Mars until May 4, and is weak in old age

state until June 27. Taurus, Virgo, and Scorpio rising signs should be

careful and patient.

 

Venus transits its exaltation sign, Pisces, from 19:34 to 28:11°, outside

the orb of influence of other planets. This is generally good for the arts,

romance, and affluence.

 

Saturn transits Leo, from 07:55 to 07:46°. Saturn is retrograde until May 2.

 

 

Rahu and Ketu transit Aquarius and Leo, respectively, from 02:02 to 00:51°.

Persons with rising signs in the 0 to 2-degree range, or with planets in odd

signs in the 0 to 2-degree range, should be careful and patient.

 

Transits for each “Rising sign” (not “Sun sign”):

activities. There is good fortune through your own self efforts.

 

Cancer: Focus on your career, authority figures and independent projects.

Work on writing, brokering, and communications. Expect a positive career

shift in May, leading to renewed status in July. There is good fortune and

spiritual progress with parents, property, and home life.

 

Leo: Focus on your dharma and spirituality. There are gains and good fortune

with your status and family life. Put some attention on research, language

and mystical knowledge. Be patient with delays or setbacks with your own

initiatives, and tell your younger siblings to be careful and patient.

 

Virgo: Focus on research, language, and mystical knowledge. There may be

some losses or transformations. Avoid long-distant ventures. Your best bet

is with your spouse and partners. Be careful to avoid accidents at home or

while traveling, and be patient with delays or setbacks.

 

Libra: Focus on your health, finances, and being of service to others.

Overcome obstacles and refinance debt. Expect both gains and losses, along

with separations, or long-distant ventures with your partners. Invest in

friendships and industrial activities. Pursue your own efforts and

initiatives.

 

Scorpio: Focus on being of service to others, and avoid debts and conflicts

in the workplace and with friends, older siblings, or over income. Take care

of your health and manage finances. There may be expenses, separations, or

long-distant ventures with your children, education and investments.

 

Sagittarius: Focus on your children, education, investments, and creative

projects. Connect these with your career, dharma, marriage and partners.

Beautify your home and consider that new car. There is good fortune with

your own initiatives. Continue to teach, publish, and advise.

 

Capricorn: Focus on research, language, meditation, and mystical knowledge.

There is good fortune at home, but be careful to avoid accidents both at

home and while traveling. Work on your own efforts and initiatives. Be

creative. Write and communicate. Expect relief with home life by the end of

April.

 

Aquarius: There is good fortune with your wealth, status, and family life.

Speak sweetly and on spirituality. Invest in your own efforts, children,

education, and partnerships, but be patient with delays and setbacks. Focus

on marriage and partnerships, along with teaching and advisory roles.

 

Pisces: Focus on the fine, healing and performing arts, but be careful to

avoid accidents and manage delays and setbacks. For some, there may be

marriage or windfalls. Be patient with partners to avoid conflict. They may

be having health and financial issues. Expect good energy in your career.
