Guest guest
Folks Recently I was reading a book written by Shri Ganesh (bhava aalysis -2 books). In that he says (paraphrasing) that if Sturn connects to 10th house, lord or mid cusp -then the person will be do work related to accounts or will be good in accounting, as saturn indicates calculations (or person will /can do calcs). I am a little baffled by this interpretation. Any thoughts, please share. Thanks M. Sharma

Guest guest
It is incorrect to say that Saturn is for Accounts. It should be Mercury / Jupiter, since both stand for finance. Mercury-Jupiter-Mars connection will give taxation such as income tax, Sales tax, etc. Mercury-Mars conjunction or connection will give analytical skills like auditing, reconciliation, etc. 3rd house stands for letters and writing. Mercury connection with 3rd,6 and 10 should indicate a line in Accounts in a fixed sign. Regards MK Viswanat " M. Guest guest
dob 0ct10 1949, time 2.16am, place ; chennai. the above native is my schoolmate. He gave his chart details for analysis. he is employed in a nationalised bank and due for retirement. He was unhappy that he has been stagnating in a particular post without any further promotion for the last 12yrs. on seeing the chart i was wondering how come he chose accountancy line ie he did his chartered accountancy. his 10th lord is mars though debilitated but its nakshtra lord is mercury and in the amsa 10th amsa is dhanur with jupiter. Yet i felt that he would have done well in the field of medicine or elec engineering. I told the native that he would have done well in the above field, he immediately jumped and told that he had great interest in medicine/engineering, but due to compulsion from the family front he had to choose accountancy. Members can give their opinion on the above chart. good luck, k.gopu ______________________________\ ____ Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Mobile. Guest guest
Namaste Sir, According to Parasara, dasamsa is the chart for career. Rasi chart is the chart of physical matters. In dasamsa (D-10), Sg rises. Mercury is the 10th lord in 9th. Mercury CAN give an accounting job in a bank. The dasamsa chart has a sarpa yoga. Sun, Saturn, Rahu and Ketu are in quadrants. There is an eclipse of Sun in lagna. Arudha lagna (status and image in career) is afflicted by Saturn. The dasamsa chart is not very strong. Chanting Vishnu sahasra naama stotram (Vishnu's 1008 names) everyday can give relief in his career. Guest guest
actually i find a strong mars to do with accounting that is because mars wants to put everything in the right place as he sees it. so it gives great adminstrative ability with accounting. mars is a strong indication of a very good accountant as opposed to a mediocre one. __________ Raja Gursahani (: 559.474.8576 ,: rajagursahani
Guest guest
dear shri Narasimha, at the outset I thank u for giving ur valuable analysis of the chart. U have mentioned that in D10 chart both AL & GL are afflicted by saturn who happens to be 2nd and 3rd lord. but AL & GL lagnathipathi jupiter is in virgo and has a samasaptha position towards saturn. wont this sama saptha position try to bring down the affliction? If u have time u may kindly reply to the query. native details: dob 10th oct 1949. time 2.16am place of birth: chennai regards, k.gopu ______________________________\ ____ Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Mobile. Guest guest
Dear friends, In this chart, the 10th lord Mars is in the navamsa of Jupiter, and that Jupiter is in his own house in Sagittarius. Of course, Jupiter gives accounting job in a bank, as dhana karaka. I believe that there is no need to look into dasamsa in this case. Best regards, Satya Sai Kolachina , " Narasimha P.V.R. Guest guest
Dear Raja, Please look at my posting for this native. Guest guest
Dear Satya ji, The classical method that you have stated works pretty well in my case. I have Sun and Lagna in Leo. Hence, Leo acts as a stronger reference point as compared to Chandra lagna which is Taurus. From Leo, 10th lord is Venus. Venus occupies Venus navamsha. Coming back to Rasi, Venus occupies Leo, closely conjunct Mercury (hardly one degree apart) and occupies the nakshatra of Ketu. I guess, Mercury, Ketu and Sun should indicate my profession. I worked for a long time writing (Mercury) software for computers (Ketu). Towards the end of my career, I stopped actually writing software and was involved moslty in management/administrative tasks (Sun). You do have my birth details, if you wnat to refer to my chart. Interestingly, in my D10, Mercury and Ketu are placed in the 6th! However, I do have a problem arriving at someone's profession in each and every chart whether it is from Rasi or from D10. I always wonder why! Regards, Krishna Satya Sai Kolachina <skolachi wrote: Dear Raja, Please look at my posting for this native. Guest guest
Krishna ji, 10th lord is in venusian navansha. Why no influence of Venus on the profession ? Navamsha dispositor plays a role and its position in rashi is imporatnt. Here if understand correctly you have taken influence on the navansha dispositor as the primary indication. Doesn't the navansha dispositor play a role on its own ? Guest guest
Dear Satish, Navamsa dispositor, and influences on it in the rasi chart, all play equally - this has been demonstrated by Sri KN Rao in several examples. Venus also represents consulting. I am not sure if that is what Sri Krishnamurthy was involved in. He can confirm it. Sun and Leo represent independent authority - hence shows that Sri Krishnamurthy should be playing an authoritative role with a lot of independence in making decisions and so on. Guest guest
Dear Sri Krishnamurthy, Thanks for the feedback. Yes, I remember having your details with me. I will check it again and get back to you. Did you work in consulting? I believe that Venus indicates consulting industry also. Additionally, since Venus is your 10th lord from Sun lagna and also the navamsa dispositor also; and since Chandra is in Vrishabha, Venus lagna, it strongly indicates that the industry you worked for, may be related to Moon and Venus - beauty and garment - automobile - fluids or something that flows - hotels - consulting (on the move) - travel related. You may think in these directions. Guest guest
Tarun, Now I am adding to this. You may now take other planets' influence and try to interpret. If, for example, Jupiter, as 10th lord is in Sani navamsa aspected by Mercury - it can indicate accounting in the oil trading industry. I know you are good in these interpretations. I am just stressing the importance of navamsa dispositor of 10th lord. Guest guest
Dear Satya ji, Initially, I worked for a company that was designing power plants in India. My job was to write software to analyse and design some of the structures built in the power plants (in-house development for my employer). Later, I developed software for Cement Industry (on-site development for the customer). After that I worked for a company that developed packaged software (off-the shelf software, not custom developed or tailor made). The only relatonship to consultancy is that my first company was a consulting company (for power plant design) though I never worked as a consultant myself. Regards, Krishna Satya Sai Kolachina <skolachi wrote: Dear Sri Krishnamurthy, Thanks for the feedback. Most of my career, I either worked independently on something without any guidance/interference from my superiors or I was in-charge of the project and was free to take decisions. Guest guest
Namaste Shri Gopu, > Interestingly, in my D10, Mercury and Ketu are placed in the 6th! Many people look only at the 10th house to see profession. However, all the artha trikonas (2nd, 6th and 10th) in D-10 must be seen for career. If the 6th house house is strong and dominates, it can show the career. The 2nd house is the resources one has access to in one's job. The 6th house is effort put in to solve problems that come up in one's job. The 10th house is what one accomplishes on one's job. They all together define one's profession. The relative role of each of these three aspects changes from chart to chart. Mercury and Ketu in 6th in D-10 can certainly show a software job. Guest guest
Krishnaji, Venus represents refined things. So in software industry people who deisign software architecture, user interface design where artistic tendencies play a role can be represented by venus. However I would have thought you will be in venusian industry. But it seems that your profession involves logic ( martian quality) and venus is only playing a supprting role giving its flavor. I would like Sattya ji to comment on this. Navamsha dispositor of 10th lord should show the main aptitude of the person in my opinion. How navamsha dispositors rashi position is used I am not yet clear. Do you look for his house placement in rashi ?
