Guest guest
It has been rightly observed by most of the astrologers that relationship of Saturn and moon is present in almost all the horoscopes of big Saints. Before commenting on this relationship I would like to draw attention towards the " Chakra " present in our body. There are five planets except two illuminaries i.e. Sun and Moon and there are five `Vikars' / Problems / Defects in the mind. One has to overcome these defects. The five `Vikars' have been assigned to five planets (except Sun & Moon) i.e. Kam, krodha, lobh, moha, ahankar. By concentrating on `Agya chakra' one gets all the five `Chakras' activated or all the five chakras must be open only than Agya chakra can be opened. Saturn and moon relation indicates possibility of opening of Agya chakra. Most of the astrologers believe that Saturn association reduces the goodness of all houses and planets and all the bad things are being attached with Saturn. But I humbly disagree. All who work for the common cause Saturn - Moon gives excellent results. Here Saturn is karaka and nivarak of sanskars. Absence of Saturn and moon relation denotes that either the person is not capable of rising above sanskars or he believes in Bhakti and does not want Moksha. In these cases if there is relation of sun and moon then he is capable of creating a milestone in the field of social work or bhakti. It will not be irrelevant to mention that this relationship only gives capability and tendency to do same thing again and again. It gives an overriding and powerful sanskar, which can be good or bad. So in addition to this one must have other spporting yogas in the chart. Rishi patanjli has rightly said that " EK VRITI SABHE VRITIYON KO NASTH KARTI HAI AUR PHER SWAYAM BHE NASTH HO JATI HAI " . One thought destrus all other thoughts and in the last gets destroyed. He further says that " CHIT VRITI KE NIRODH KA NAM YOGA HAI " cessation of thought is yoga. Relation of sun and moon especially 1/7 with Saturn gives extra ordinary power and it may open the crown chakra directly and it gives the original and different view and capability of moving the world. Guest guest
Dear AhwiniKumara, lots of thanks to you, good astrologers should remain more active in this kaliyuga otherwise rahu's (Bhaakar - Sudrakaar) dark will spread over the astrology. W'd request you to give more light on Mangal and Chandra-Vairagya, as it's not known to me and many others. how this yoga works and how such a native leads to divine path. best regards, Your Friend, SriPrabhat , " Petar " <ashwinikumaras wrote: > > , " sriprabhat47 " <sriprabhat47@> > wrote: > > > > Hari Om. > > Another combination is Mangal and Chandra-Vairagya, if other things in > chart confirm this. > > Shani and Chandra is great for detachment and Yoga of course, if chart > confirm this. > > Best regards, > ashwini > > It has been rightly observed by most of the astrologers that > > relationship of Saturn and moon is present in almost all the > > horoscopes of big Saints. > > > > Before commenting on this relationship I would like to draw attention > > towards the " Chakra " present in our body. Guest guest
I hope you don't mind me adding that because Saturn is so prominent in the lives of great saints we get evidence it is also a karaka for enlightenment, austerity, self discipline and humility. Guest guest
hii M, as we all know saturn is the planet for detachment. Yes but it also depends that the other factors i.e. how strong it is. i know few people in my circle who has this combination, all faced problems related to relations, humilation and finally lonely. i have also noticed that a saturn moon person can be best understood by the person who has the same combination in horoscope, this is my personal experience. But yes saturn moon, mostly has bad married / love life. i hope other people who has the same combination and are happy in married / relationships can post there experiences. I would like to share my experience as I have Saturn-Moon in almost exact opposition (Sat 25 degrees Scorpio and Moon 27 degrees Taurus). I never got into any love relationship and hence, no question of any bad experiences there. Mine was an arranged marriage. We have been married for close to 24 years now. Though we do have minor arguments once in a while (which I consider to be normal), there was no serious conflict between us. I am also going through Sat MD since more than 10 years now. Guest guest
Dear Krishna ji, this is a good information for me. i forgot to write that saturn moon in same sign actually. as in my case i am virgo lagna with saturn moon in 2nd house in libra. actually moon is mind and so saturn gives some sort of depressing attitude in the person. rest is also the condition of moon in other partner's horoscope. would like to hear more about your saturn's Mahadasha. IF you can share. Guest guest
Hi Tarun I do see that many charts with strong Saturn Moon combinations often belong to those who work in a nursing or social care profession, or even scientific ones. The combination seems to draw them into contact with huge amounts of people, where they give hard work, and in situations where they have to be detached in order to deliver their 'service.' Perhaps detached, rather than lonely describes some of these with this combination prominent in their chart. The people I know with this combination i.e. scientists/doctors, nurses, social workers, carers, would not describe themselves as lonely just in need of space to themselves after so much work time given to helping others. best wishes M - Tarun Wednesday, April 02, 2008 8:32 AM Re: Saturn - Moon hii M, as we all know saturn is the planet for detachment. Guest guest
Namaste friends, Moon shows mind. Saturn stands for detachment. On one extreme, Moon- Saturn combination can make one prone to depression and unhappiness. On the other extreme, it can make one's mind highly detached and conducive to great sadhana and also karma yoga. All the conditioning and coloring of the mind blocks one from seeing the highest truths of this creation. One is stuck with likes, dislikes, biases and various ideas. All these ideas and conditioning works as a barrier. If all those ideas are overcome, all the limits on what one can do are also gone. Saturn's influence on Moon can make the mind detached, control all the conditioning and coloring of the mind. One can do any amount of karma yoga and do any complicated sadhana. Aurobindo Ghose, one of the greatest saints of the 20th century, had Saturn-Moon combination in the 6th house in Sagittarius. It was in Moon's Vimsottari dasa that his life was transformed - he sailed to Pondicherry and started intense sadhana. Swami Vivekananda, one of the most famous Hindu teachers of the 19th century, had Saturn-Moon combination in the 10th house in Virgo. It was in Saturn's Shashtihayani dasa (he has Sun in lagna and this dasa works better than Vimsottari dasa) that his life was transformed too. He met his guru (Saturn is chara bhratri karaka, showing the spiritual master) and started intense sadhana. Saturn-Moon combination is very conducive to intense spiritual sadhana and/or great karma yoga (service), which requires a high level of detachment. Any sadhana or service done with attachment and ego is quite limited.
