You have listed all the points very well. Seems to be a perfect candidate to acquire diabetes. Looking at the vimshottari dasha, I suspect that he will have his first problems of diabetes (Type 1) during Rah-Ven period. That would start around Aug. 2011. Soon, or in early 2012, he is most likely to undergo treatment for diabetes. After looking at his chart last nite, I immediately rang him and told him to change his lifestyle. He's also undergoing Sadesati now, and is under tremendous stress further increasing his susceptibility.
