Guest guest
Namaste Tarun, I'm presenting a jyotish principle which everyone should consider when analyzing a chart. This principle needs to be weighed in consideration along with the other indicators in the chart. As such, the assessment of the chart would be more indicative of the person's life situation. We need to use our own logic to ascertain how this maraka karaka sthana (MKS) for Jupiter plays out. If Jupiter is weak, then its aspect will not be as beneficial as well. However, one should check the navamsha dispositor of Jupiter. If the dispositor is strong in the navamsha, then it is highly certain that the MKS indicators will take effect. If the dispositor is weak, then the MKS indicators may be somewhat mitigated. The planets that would do well in the third house would be: 1. Exalted planets; 2. Moolatrikona planets; 3. Planets in swakshetra; 4. Mars (promotes bravery and courage) and Venus (promotes artistic abilities). 5. Rahu, because it is the opposite of its MKS position in the 9th house. Guest guest
Dear John I presume - that at no point - any sub rule can supercede basics. Now Jupiter's strength as weak / strong is different issue than its benefic or malefic nature. My question to you is that - does MKS makes jupiter malefic or simply weak? Tarun - I strongly believe that Jupiter's role must be decided by its lordship for the houses (i.e. based upon lagna) and its natural relationship with lagna lord. Yes- Jupiter in 3rd will do well - if benefic to the lagna as it will aspect 7/9/11 houses (out of these three - it is natural significator for 9th and 11th house. Yes Jupiter has its deficiency for budha / venus governed ascendants. As Bhaskar ji has pointed out - it is very important to focus on rasi and bhava chalit chart - than doing fantacy jyotish around D charts. Mostly, we may even be looking at wrong D charts for the variances amongst ayanamsa. regards / Prafulla Gang http://www.vedic-jyotish.net [http://www.vedic-jyotish.net] Vedic Jyotish : research and resource web No-one is perfect......until you fall in love with them! ************************************************ jr_esq Sat, 05 Jan 2008 18:52:29 -0000 Re: Jupiter in the 3rd House (for Tarun and all) Namaste Tarun, I'm presenting a jyotish principle which everyone should consider when analyzing a chart.
