This means that any fundamentalist ideas that espouse violence and extreme measures to propagate one's belief or religion will only result in the deterioration of dharma on earth. This deterioration results in the suffering of mankind in the guise of ignorance, poverty, corruption and other maladies that we are now experiencing during Kali Yuga. Why is Rahu weak in the 9th house? Because Rahu signifies a demon. Since the 9th house is the house of the guru and dharma, a demon could not possibly know or is incapable of taking on the role of a guru. Without mentioning any names and organizations, we at the present time have such individuals who are attempting to be religious teachers with the agenda to destroy the opposing religions. These individuals are taking on the role of Rahu. And what does society get? We become only the receipient of fear, anger, frustration and death. Regards, John R.
