Planetary Transits for December 27 – January 2

Sun transits Sagittarius, from 11:06 to 18:14°.

Moon is waning and transits Cancer, Leo, Virgo and Libra.

Mars transits Gemini, from 07:41 to 05:06°. Mars is retrograde until Jan.

30 and remains in Gemini until April 28. This is an unusually slow transit

for Mars, which focuses business on the housing and property market.

Mercury transits Sagittarius from 16:37 to 27:57°. Mercury is combust until

Jan. 10, but is outside the orb of influence of other planets. This should

be good for the stock market.

Jupiter transits its mooltrikona sign, Sagittarius, from 07:57 to 09:33°,

under the aspect of Mars and Ketu. There can be some fighting over

religious ideologies.

Venus transits Scorpio, from 01:48 to 10:16. Expect an end to the strike by

the Writers Guild of America after Dec. 29.

Saturn transits Leo, from 14:32 to 14:23°, outside the orb of influence of

other planets. Saturn is retrograde until May 2.

Rahu and Ketu transit Aquarius and Leo, respectively, from 05:04 to 04:58°.

Persons with rising signs in the 4 to 5-degree range, or with planets in odd

signs in the 4 to 5-degree range, should be careful and patient.

Transits for each “Rising sign” (Not “Sun sign”):

Aries: There can be gains, income, and friendships, along with good fortune

through your own efforts, children, education and investments. Tell your

partner to be careful to avoid accidents and to be patient with setbacks.

Expect good fortune and spiritual progress in 2008.

Taurus: Exercise patience for another week. There can be losses, expenses,

insomnia, restlessness, or long distant journeys, connected with the marital

bond, setbacks, accidents, inheritance or windfalls. Focus on home life and

take care of your parents and property.

Gemini: Focus on home life, property, and partners, along with your own

interests and entrepreneurial activities. Take care of your children,

education and investments. Expect gains, income and friendships through

April, and marriage or partnerships in 2008.

Cancer: Focus on productivity with your parents, property, home life,

children, education and investments. Exercise patience with your career,

self interests, and communications, to avoid debt, conflict, and mental

tension. Manage your debt, health, and legal issues during 2008.

Leo: Focus on your children, education and investments. These should be

doing very well. Consider starting a new project from home or in real

estate. Expect gains, income and friendships through April, and a

successful 2008. Consider partnerships over the next two years.

Virgo: Focus on parents, property, and home life, along with your own

efforts and entrepreneurial activities. Be patient with short-term losses

or expenses, and exercise patience with your career through April. Expect

happiness and a good home life in 2008.

Libra: Focus on your status and family life. Be patient with short-term

losses and expenses. There can also be some gains and income through your

own self efforts. Expect good fortune with marriage and partnerships

through April, and entrepreneurial success in 2008.

Scorpio: Continue to exercise patience this week, especially with the

status quo and family life to avoid debts, disputes, accidents and health

issues. There may be delays or setbacks. Be patient with short-term

travel, losses or expenses. Expect a rise in status in 2008.

Sagittarius: Expect good fortune with your career, entrepreneurial

activities and personal life. Be patient with short term losses and

expenses, or problems with friends or older siblings. Invest in marriage

and partnerships through April. Your health and reputation improves in

2008.

Capricorn: Continue to exercise patience. There can be expenses with

parents, property, and home life. Slow down to avoid accidents and

setbacks. Expect gains with your career. Focus on research, meditation and

mystical knowledge. Take a sabbatical or travel in 2008.

Aquarius: Expect good fortune with your career. Gain through partners and

long-distant ventures. Be patient with short-term delays. Focus on your

children, education, and investments in property and your own efforts

through April. Enjoy income and friendships in 2008.

Pisces: Be patient with short-term debts and conflicts in your career.

Focus on your parents, property, and home life through April. Manage your

health and finances to avoid problems over the next two years. Expect

professional success during 2008.

Dear David,

Before I am made a scapegoat and a ladder for people

to reach out to pamper you,let it be known clear that-

I have nothing against You. In fact i am Your

well wisher.

I wished to write you few months before too

that Your hard work and efforts would become more

better and appreciated if

you could pinpoint the specific differences of

transits in each sign, and be be more predictive

rather than just illustrating the transits which

can be 'known from any Ephermeris. But i did not

write to you because I felt you may not take

it sportingly and may feel offended. This time

I got an opportunity so I spoke, which I regret now

if You are going to take it with a negative approach.

Frankly speaking every month I see

your mail I feel for you, but knowing this to be

a " routine mail " , I just flip over your mesaage to

the other messages. I know the amount of efforts, time and

labour spent in preparing such mails, hence had developed

a soft corner, for the writer, but in no way was my approval

granted to the contents.

What I am tring to tell you, is that further hard

work if given to Your mails, could remove the

" Routine part " and make those Mails " Special "

and " Worth Recordable " .

In no way is yor mail resented, in fact I applaud

your hard work and just want the missing parts to

be inserted and the common stuff to be removed.

But of course this is a individual opinion. You

may choose to either ignore it or else work upon it.

But remember I am a critic wishing you well,

and not otherwise. I wish you to stay and shine.

Sorry if You have been hurt by my words.

God bless You.

Wish You a Happy New year ahead.

Kind regards,

Bhaskar.

Dear Bhaskar...

Thank you for your email and well wishes.

No problem from my side...

Just so you know; there are two parts to my weekly column.

The first section describes the transits of the planets.

(Yes, anyone can find these in an ephemeris or with software.

The subtle difference is that I sometimes give predictions on their impact

on stocks, travel, religion, business, governments, etc.)

The second part of the column is my analysis of these transits and their

impact on each rising sign.

These are specific to each rising sign, although they are irrespective of

the planetary positions in an individual's natal chart.

The format was developed to meet the guidelines of the newspaper that has

published my column for the past five years.

As a general courtesy, I also share my column with my clients and several

websites and Jyotish newsgroups.

Unfortunately, I am not in a position to rework the format of my column at

the present time.

Perhaps some time you can also write a column and present it to the Jyotish

Group to illustrate your suggestions.

Certainly it would be helpful and interesting to all.

In the meantime, I send you and all of our esteemed members best wishes for

a healthy, happy, and prosperous New Year.

Dear David,

A great telepathy is exisiting it seems. My previous

post just crossed Yours at precisely the time I

remembered You. I am too small a astrologer and not

yet satisfied with my own stuff what I produce,

for me to write a Column with illustrations is too far

fetched a Order. Not in this Birth at least.

I am not fit for all this. I am repeating that I

appreciate the work you are doing, and from now onwards

would be a avid reader of the same, and not bypass the

hard work you are into, which is a promise I make

to You. But please take my suggestions in a positive

vein coming from a well wisher.

Best of all that God can provide You.

regards,

Bhaskar.

Re: Planetary Transits for December 27 - January 2

Best of all that God can provide You.

regards,

Bhaskar.
