I am working as a service engineer in an IT Hardware Company at present. I am basically an electronics engineer. After passing engineering i have started my career in 1992 as a service engineer & from last 15 years, i have worked for 5/6 companies as the same service engineer post without having any promotion. With the same qualification & experience my colleagues are now in respectable position, but unfortunately i am in the same designation, only having changes the companies. Also getting lesser salary. Why my career not advancing at all. & When will my better time comes and i will get a managerial post? I am afraiding whether the hardware field is suitable for me or not? Should I continue with the Hardware line or should I change to another profession. Whether business is suitable for me please suggest & if suitable in which line. Really worried about my career, help needed.
