I have said in the past that he would not enter politics again for the 2008 presidential election (still true). Looking at his chart March 31, 1948 (Wash DC 12:53), he is running Rahu-Sun. Main dasha Planets in 10th and bhukti lord in 9th house. Sun is also 9th lord from moon, well placed in 4th house of Pisces. Sun is in Revati ruled by Mercury. Mercury itself is not well placed in 8th house. Rahu-Mercury was not a good period for Gore. Here Mercury in exalted in D10, but again in 8th in navamsa. Sun is exalted in D10 in house of gains (11th house), indicating gains and honour. Note that Sat and Jup earlier in transit activated his 11th house of gains from lagna and 6th house of competition from moon. If only this transit was there around Nov 2000. I guess that is destiny.
