There is another thought about the Yugas by a

Yogi who said that what we call of as kaliyuga

is not kaliyuga actually, but do not have

the refeences and the expanion of this

statement at present,in hand, if that

is the case then would make even the above dates reduntant.

In fact the yogi who has said this was a very exalted and god realized

master Sri sri yukteshwar giri, the guru of sri paramhansa yogananda. In

his book THE HOLY SCIENCE, he describes that the actual kaliyuga started in

the year AD 500 for a period of 1200 years, which means that in this age the

Dharama or the mental virtue was at its lowest and only quarter developed.

The human intellect cannot comprehend anything beyond the gross material of

this creation in kaliyuga. This statement seems very true as during this

period the world including India went though dark ages where there was

hardly any new learning or endeavours.

This yuga ended around AD 1700 whereupon began the age of dwapara yuga where

the mental virtue is at the second stage of development. The human intellect

can comprehend fine matters or electricities and their attributes which are

the creating principles of the world we live in. this period lasts for 2400

years. So as of now we are already into dwapara yuga..this probably explains

the scientific advancements made in this period starting with the

renaissance and industrial revolution….

This book gives much more detailed explanations of the yugas and human

learning and understanding based on the solar equinoxes..

Dear Anshul ji,

 

Exactly,

I was taking of the same Guru and the same book, but did not reveal

this because did not wish his name to enter any controversies, by

few members here.

 

I am a member of Yogoda, and treat Paramhansaji as my Guru.

I purchased this book about 12 Years ago from a Vendor who sells

second hand books, and I was not a member of Yogoda at that time.

I had gone for a retreat of fewminutes after Lunch, at my office.

I remember clearly that as soon as I picked that book, something

made me touch the book to my Forehead as a gesture of Pranams

to this Great Guru , and immediately a great warmth-Heat flashed

in ine region of the forehead bewteen my eyebrows, which wa

very comforting. In evening when I came home I also remember

telling my wife this incident. I believe that was the Gurus way of

blessing me. Exactly same incident in same manner and same

type of sensations I got when I touched Parashar Shila on my Yatra

to CharDham when I visited Parasha Roshis Cave and touched

my forehead to the Shila where he used to sit .

 

What he mentions in this book I purposely did not

expoand here, because it may not be digestible by many for

want of explaining and understanding, to answer

the queries.

 

Yes I believe we are already into the Dwapara Yuga,

and many explanations are also solved when we consider

the writings given in this book. Glad to know that there

are others who have read this book and believe in it.
