Guest guest
Hi Folks I am writing to find out other people's experiences in this forum (except few noise makers ot be clear). Hypothesis with which I am going is based on the recent Yediurappa's fall in Karnataka. I believe the charts and muhurta for swearing in time are given in KN Rao-jis website. 1. Strong dasha, bhukti running, pick a bad muhurta to start some event (swearing in) -IS the result bad ? like witnessed in resignation 2. Weak bhuki, but pick a strong muhurta for starting a event? Can one mitigate the bad effects of a weak bhukti. When I get Chakrapani Ullal-ji (Los Angeles), he was of the opninion that if one starts a job or something during a weak bhuki, the event may not give be favorable to the native and suggested that always pick good muhurta to start.. Is there any case study (studies) in this regard. Please share. Looking for any article, personal experience, book etc that might add more regarding this subject. Example - Swearing in charts of PMs, Presidents, with the correct natal chart etc. Note: I am not seeking astrological help to solve a personal problem. In the past some mental cases of this list have mis- interpreted my emails and passed bad remarks assuming things out of thin air. I am asking such mental cases to stay out of discussions and hit the delete button. MS
Guest guest
Dear Sharma ji, A strong muhurta can offset the impending danger. No. In fact, if you are able to do it then it is like offsetting your destiny. But a good muhurta chart can be a good remedial measure, I believe. regards, Manoj M. Guest guest
Dear M I use Muhurthas fairly regularly but I am still not sure how effective they are with no way of testing if it is the Muhurtha or just that the event as it turned out was meant to be anyway. I always use Muhurtha for long journeys, and have used the nadika method outlined by Santhanam in his book ''essentials of Hindu astrology'' with amazing success often. I don't think they can over ride what is heralded in the chart, but they can smooth the way a little like a yagya would. best wishes M - M. Guest guest
yes I am in accordance with marg about smoothening out some of the rough edges. but something deep down inside me tells me that there is something missing to muhurtha. a gem or morsel of knowledge. my heart tells me there is something very powerful about muhurtha and that this piece of information is the prize to understanding its power. only up to now I have the same opinion of margs that it can be used to rough out the edges and let me clarify what I mean by that. I think the best example would be saving someone's life from danger or death or huge calamity or obstruction as in travels (think police speeding tickets). I think a muhurtha has that ability. furthermore Saturn is the ruler of time so something has to do with Saturn here. I believe time in Sanskrit is called " kaal " correct? if Saturn rules time then timing is everything correct? I mean the minute you walk out the door time sets its path. the astrologer is seeing that progression of time where events occur? something has to do with Saturn here? namaskar, _________ Raja G.
