Over the course of my years of teaching and consulting I have met many people with mental illness - specifically schizophrenia. I am very interested in learning more about mental illness because I have found that many people who suffer from mental illness are often very bright mentally but seem to be plagued with hearing voices, hallucinations and general confusion. I have read in some places that the hearing of voices can also be the effect of ghosts, modern science considers mental health to be related to brain chemicals and I am sure some one in the group will also mention karma. I want to know how is mental illness regarded in astrology - what are the causes what planets are affected? I have seen in more than a few of these cases that they have rah in second house - seems that their speech is often affected - they speak untruths.
