Dear Arun, I have read your report with great interest, and found it

outstanding.

I have a question in reference to the last part of report, you have transit of

planets at a time in which usually here in the USA is the time (10:00am) when

the American people gets the first preliminary report. I was wandering if there

will be any significant change in your report if you use 10pm or 11pm in your

transit of planets. also results are kind of late  due to east coast time

differential.

considerable period of time, i am putting forward the analysis.

Please give your expert feedback.

Analysis:

 

Aum Sai Ram

 

Analysis of McCain, John (taking 11:00 am as birth)

 

Lagna Analysis: (Libra). Lagna placed in 2nd pada of vishaka aspected

by 2nd and 7th lord Mars who is debility cancelled, placed in the

10th. Lagna Lord Venus, debility cancelled in the 12th (though it is

about 25 deg away from point ofdeep debilitation) . Debility

cancellation being effected by the 12th Lord Mercury.

Lagan Lord along with Mercury create a number of significant

combinations.

12th lord in a dusthana generates vimala yoga which makes the native

good natured, friendly and of a noble profession. The 8th Lord in the

12th creates sarala yoga which makes he individual long-lived,

fearless, rich and successful in overcoming foes and becomes a

celebrity.

The position of the lagna lord in the 12th with the 12th lord is a

strong negative yoga, which had a very powerful say in the life of

the native. The lagna lord is also hemmed in between two malefics

11th Lord Sun and 12th Lord Mercury (though mercury's 9th lordship

will reduce the malefic nature)

 

The native assumes combat duty during Rahu dasa / Venus Bhukti. Rahu

in the 3rd is usually considered good and agains his sign dispositor

is Jupiter. Jupiter is functionally malefic being the ruler of the

3rd and the 6th, is placed 12th from Rahu. In the native's case,

Rahu has manifested in a very cruel manner primarily because of his

placement in Moola Nakshatra, a greatly dreaded nakshatra. Moola is

presided over by Nritti, the entity that presides over death. Moola

is also ruled by ketu.

 

The extreme experiences of the native during this period can be

ascribed to The Rahu's position in moola and the positioning of the

lagna lord in the 12th. Moola creates situations that push the ego of

the individual to breaking point.

 

The native's plane was shot down, he fractured his arms and legs and

nearly drowned. He was attacked by a crowd and bayoneted. Inspite of

being badly wounded he was beaten and interrogated.

Venus, the lagna lord in the 12th, hemmed in between malefics

accounts for this state of affairs. During this period he loses 23

kgs and his hair turns white. He was also put into solitary

confinement for 2 years and spent a total of over 5 years as a POW as

a result of which he carries permanent disabilities. (imprisonment,

solitary confinement are all 12th house properties)

The individual survives these ordeals because of a strong Ayuskaraka,

Saturn, in Moolatrikona sign and a raja yoga planet (lord of 4th and

5th). The 9th lordship of mercury, and the Ashatavarga score of 5 (

for venus) also helped.

 

With the Commencement of Jupiter dasa the native was freed from

captivity. Jupiter is aspected by Raja yoga planet Saturn.

 

In April 1979 (Jupiter / merc) he meets his future second wife.

Jupiter is disposited by the 7th Lord Mars and Mercury is conjunct

Venus.

During Feb. 1980 under the Jupiter Dasa and ketu bhukti he gets

divorce from first wife. Ketu is 12th from the 7th Lord Mars. Ketu is

present in the 8th house from Navamsa Lagna.

He resigns from the Navy on 1st april 1981 under Jupiter dasa /

Venus Bhukti. The end of the Jupiter dasa sees Macain in the senate

for his first term; Jupiter being aspected by Raja Yoga planet Saturn.

 

Saturn Dasa raises him to high political office. During Sun Bhukti he

starts his 2000 presidential campaign but is forced to withdraw,

possibly because Saturn and Sun are bitter enemies

 

During Saturn / Rahu he campaigns for bush for 2004 presidential

elections. He is elected for the 4th term into the US Senate and

spearheds the bill against torture of detainees. Saturn and Rahu

together form Dhurdura Yoga (planets on either side of the moon).

Moon is placed in Capricorn. (papakartari yoga not present as /Saturn

is outside the 30 deg radius from Moon and Saturn is a functional

benefic. Rahu will behave like Saturn )

 

The two strongest planets in the chart Vargottama Sun, the 11th lord,

(1st in Shadbala) and Saturn 4th and 5th Lord (2nd in shadbala) are

in mutual aspect. This is similar to Obama's chart (we will discuss

that later), but the axis for McCain is the 5th and 11th which has

among other things given him seven children (4 biological)

 

Another import mutual aspect (full sambanda) is that of Moon 10th

Lord and debility cancelled Mars the 2nd and 7th Lord. The house has

been strengthened by the aspect of the 10th lord. The strong

placement of Mars in the 10th had given him a career in the armed

forces. The 10th Lord is aspected by Saturn, the Raja Yoga Planet.

The 10th house is aspected by its natural significator Jupiter.

Mercury and Sun, being the other two natural significators of the

10th are strongly placed in own house. This is in direct contrast to

Obama's chart, which has afflictions to the 10th house. The strength

of the 10th house is amply illustrated in the career of McCain

having raised him to one of the leading figures of the US Senate.

 

Moon and Mars, full relationship, has generated Chandra- Mangala

Yoga, bringing in wealth as property (4th house) through the spouse

(7th Lord Mars). Mrs. McCain is estimated to have wealth to the tune

of $100 Million. Also, the connection between the 7th and the 10th

has propelled the native into politics after joining his father-in-

law's company as the VP- public relations and developing the

necessary contacts required for political success.

 

In the Navamsa chart, the rasi 10th Lord's dispositor, Saturn, is

strongly placed in the Rasi chart. The dispositor of Moon in the Rasi

chart is Saturn.

Taking the temporal atmakaraka Saturn as the lagna in the navamsa

chart we see that the 10th lord Jupiter is placed well, in the 9th

house.

In the Dasamsa chart, the Rasi 10th Lord is debilitated and looses

strength.

 

Mercury the 9th Lord is placed in the 12th in its own house of

exalation, but is conjoined a debilitated venus giving the lagna lord

debility cancellation. This is the weakest link in McCain,s chart as

the cancellation of the Lagna Lord is happening in the 12th. The

worst period in his life was during the Rahu Dasa Venus bukthi.

 

The presidential debates and the November 4th election fall in the

mercury dasa / Mercury bhukti/ venus paryantar dasa. The vimala yoga

and sarala yoga mentioned earlier will generate consider potential

for victory.

But the planet that have taken him to the pinnacle of his political

career is Saturn and his dasa is coming to an end . Will Mercury pull

of a victory for McCain? (we are talking about, arguably, the most

powerful executive position in the world)

Mercury is the 9th Lord but positioned in the 12th, and therefore

will manifest more of 12th house properties. Mercury is conjoined

Venus (when mercury has play so will venus), and therefore during the

crucial period, the weakest factors come into effect and it seems

that McCain will not win. From the analysis of historical data, we

know that venus does not have the power to stop negative factors from

having full play.(POW during Venus bhukti).

 

Analysis of Obama's Chart:

Ascendant is in Capricorn in dhanishta 1st pada, aspected by

Mercury 6th and 9th lord, 6th in shadbala

Sun 8th lord, 1st in shadbala

The ascendant is occupied by the lagna lord Saturn (also the 2nd

lord) in retro and Jupiter the 3rd and 12th lord, who gets debility

cancellation.

 

Saturn generates Sasha mahapurusha yoga, and Jupiter, due to its

debility cancellation generates the effects of Hamsa Mahapurusha

Yoga. But Jupiter is weakest in shadbala. Saturn is 3rd in shadbala

and has 6 favourable vergas and will be dominate this conjunction.

But Jupiter expansive influence will temper the austere nature of

Saturn.

According to BV Raman the stain of 8th lordship does not effect the

Sun, but since it disposits Rahu, we will ascribe some amount of

malefic characteristics to it.

There is complex intermingling of planetary influence on the lagna

(taking aspects and occupancy). But the dominating influences will be

that of Saturn and Sun (given their shadbala strength). On the face

of it they are bitter enemies and their conflict will colour the

whole horoscope, but both of them are positive influences on the

lagna, one being the lagna lord and the other its natural

significator, and in this chart sun is also the temporal Atmakaraka.

Also at a deeper level, The Energies of the Sun needs the static

nature of Saturn to manifest its qualities.

The other influences on the lagna include the 6th and 8th lords

aspects, temporal malefic Jupiter's presence; i.e., (3rd, 6th, 8th

and 12th lords). Saturn and Mercury have the positive influences of

1st, 2nd and 9th lords.

The conjunction of Mercury and Sun in a water house indicates high

intelligence. The fifth house is aspected by Jupiter its natural

significator, though the 5th lord has moeved to the 6th house it is

in its best friends house (Gemini). Moon, the 7th lord, is exalted

in the 5th house (a quadrant lord in a trine), 2nd in shadbala and in

its own nakshatra and therefore powerfully placed. All these factors

have contribute to the native becoming the first black president of

the harward law review. Mercury's strength also ensures a good mass

media image.

Another factor is that the Lagna, Lagna Lord and the permanent and

temporary atmakara are in mutual aspect indicating a soul that has

come to fulfill a destiny.

 

9th lord is in the 7th and the 7th lord in the 5th generate positive

yogas (trine lord in Kendra and Kendra lord in trine). 4th and 11th

lord is placed between the 8th and 9th houses influencing both. Again

a Kendra lord influences a trine. But the 4th lord's proximity to the

8th house damages its signification. This also effects the 11th house

properties of Mars.

 

Moon is exalted and taking moon as ascendant, Jupiter the 8th and

11th lord aspects having achieved debility cancellation . We also

find that moon's dispositor is placed well in best friends house in

the 2nd.

 

Capricorn – Cancer axis is the key to understanding Obama's chart.

Cancer is the sign of the mother; being caring and empathetic with

an ability to intuitively sense the mood of the masses. This is

combined with properties of Capricorn, which is the sign of practical

realization, giving the native the power to undertake great

endeavours.

The 8th lord brings its double edged characteristic of deep

transformation and also its properties of death and decay. Rahu's

influence on the sun, may accentuate this darker aspect which can

open up the individual to psychic influences that need not be

beneficial. Rahu gives worldly success at the cost of inner emptiness.

 

Another important pattern in obama's chart is the presence of four

planets in quadrants with two others occupying trines.

9th house:

9th lord in the 7th (with 8th lord) aspecting lagna and its lord. 9th

house partially influenced by Mars generating positive combinations

of 4th & 9th and 9th & 11th . Jupiter the significator of dharma

aspects. The 9th is overall under benefic influences.

 

11th house is scorpio, with the aspect of an exalted 7th lord. The

significant negative factor is the weakness of Mars, the 11th lord.

 

Taking the moon as lagna both the 9th and 11th houses are well

fortified.

 

Navamsa Chart:

The navamsa chart has exalted Rahu, ketu and Mars, with Jupiter and

Saturn occupying own house. Here if we take the atmakaraka Sun as

lagna it falls in the same sign as the rasi lagna, Capricorn.

Evaluating the 10th house:

 

The 10th house is aspected by Lagna Lord Saturn. The 10th Lord Venus

is placed in the 6th house. Of the natural significators of the 10th

Mercury and Sun are placed strongly, with Jupiter gaining strength

with its debility cancellation.

10th Lord's presence in the 6th is not favourable and one can only

assume that 6th being an upachaya house will show favourable results

with the passage of time.

From the Moon though ketu occupies the 10th house, the 9th, 10th and

11th conjunction in the 9th generates positive yogas including

dharmakarmadhipathi yoga.

In the Navamsa chart an exalted rahu is in the 10th house with 10th

lord in the 5th.

In the Dasamsa chart we find the 10th Lord venus is debilitated.

 

The combination of weaknesses in the 10th house does put a question

mark on the effectiveness of his presidency

 

Current Dasa Jupiter with Mars Bhukti:

Juptier as explained earlier is strengthened by its conjunction with

Saturn. Both Sasha Mahpurusha Yoga and hamsa mahapurusha yoga results

are possible during this dasa. Mars the Bhukti lord is placed weakly.

 

Transit of planets over Washington DC on 4th November 2008 (10:00 am)

 

MCCain:

 

The 8th position of transit Saturn from the natal moon is considered

to be quite inauspicious. Transit Mercury current position is over

libra which has a good ashtavarga score of 6 and the transit results

indicate destruction of enemies, but Saturn's transit cause vedha and

therefore the auspicious transit results of mercury, the dasa lord

get nullified.. Mars, Venus and Moon are in favourable transit

positions. Sun though in favourable transit has a low (3) astavarga

score. Transit Jupiter's inauspicious results are aggravated by the

low astavarga score of 2.

The two major planets Saturn and Jupiter along with Mercury, the dasa

lord, do not have favourable transits.

 

Obama:

 

Saturn, Sun, Venus, Jupiter and Moon are in unfavourable transit

positions, with only Mercury favourable disposed with an astavarga

score of 6. Mars indicates fresh problems with enemies, but transit

moon has produced vedha and hence the negative results or mars are

nullified.

 

Conclusion:

 

Balancing all the factors stated above, the victory of Obama seems

the most likely, but the effectiveness of his presidency is a

question mark and there is a high probability that he will not

thankyou. I was not sure, which time to take, 10:00 am was just a

guess of mine. I have read that in certain areas elections begin much

earlier? are the election results announced by 10pm / 11 pm? anyway

for the slower moving planets the time will not make any difference.

Hi Linda,

 

Thanks for the info. Since the seat of power is Washington DC, the

transits there would be good average. (I am an Indian, based in the Dubai)
