Guest guest
Hi, I would cite examples of Gases in Non Gaseous Forms 1. Solid Carbon Di Oxide which is solid below -78 Degree Centigrade. Solid CO2 is also called Dry Ice. 2. Liquified Helium 3. Metallic Hydrogen Saturns Core comprises of Hydrogen (93%) & Helium & Helium (7%). I think presence of Metallic Hydrogen on Saturn is a property which retains the Character that of Air, while also imparting Solidity as a Constrainer. Please refer to the following for details: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saturn#Composition Regards, Mandar B --- On Mon, 9/8/08, Vic D <vicdicara wrote: Vic D <vicdicara Saturn? Guest guest
All: Aside from that truly Genius reply from Mandar, what I originally was interested in addressing was not the Gnanika of Saturn, but the Hora of Saturn... in other words not the astronomical basis of reconciling Saturn's air/solid nature (which is brilliant anyway) but the interpretational reconciliation. For example, Saturn is in my 4th house. Does this solidfy my emotional state or make it easily disturbed and changing, like air? In my experience it is both. My emotions are very solid and also easily changable but I think this may be due to factors other than saturn. So please, some feedback on how to interpret the effects of a planet (Saturn) that is both airy and solidifying. - Vic On Sep 8, 2008, at 9:28 AM, Mandar B wrote: > Hi, > I would cite examples of Gases in Non Gaseous Forms > 1. Guest guest
Dear Vic, The temperament (humor) of the rasis, grahas and nakshatras are given in BPHS and further explanation is given on JyotishVidya.com. http://jyotishvidya.com/prikriti.htm As you will see both Capricorn and Saturn's temperament is governed by Vata which corresponds to air and is defined as windy by temperament. There are certain things, including excessive travel, insufficient sleep, anxiety/worry etc, that can aggravate this (vata) dosha. Vata is extremely sensitive to change in the environment. Our prikriti at birth will fluctuate depending upon the dasas/transits at any given time. Your Jupiter dasa is presently influenced by Saturn bhukti (who also aspects Jupiter in natal chart) so, although Jupiter indicates travel, this may possibly not be the best time to do so. Adequate rest and attention to diet will help pacify vata and improve the significations of Saturn. The positive significations of Saturn will be expressed more readily if vata is in balance...out of balance Saturn/Vata's tendency for worry, anxiety, depression etc can dominate. For you, Saturn occupies (pitta) Aries which can indicate a consuming passion leading to impatience and irritability. Guest guest
Dear Sir, Now that you have something to link with the position of saturn in your chart to know how saturn in 4th(sure concerned only with bahva represented),general characterstics could help to understand for analysis purpose.Mantreswara in phaldeepika, while discussing about planets and houses characterised saturn. Not necesaary this could be ultimate analysis.Genarally.being a representative of tamas guna, saturn considered to be windy. Also makes to think inwards(retrospection),does not appear to expressive and eloquent.Likely to carry things of past and wait for time to act. vrkrishnan --- On Mon, 9/8/08, Vic D <vicdicara wrote: Vic D <vicdicara Re: Saturn? jyotish-vidya Monday, September 8, 2008, 12:45 PM All: Aside from that truly Genius reply from Mandar, what I originally was interested in addressing was not the Gnanika of Saturn, but the Hora of Saturn... in other words not the astronomical basis of reconciling Saturn's air/solid nature (which is brilliant anyway) but the interpretational reconciliation. Guest guest
Everyone, I thank everyone for their input but I feel that my question is not being clearly understood. So I will restate it. Saturn is the constrainer, holder, and solidfier... yet he is also airy. Therefore he seems to exert two influences at once. On the one hand you would expect him to constrain and restrict what he influences, but on the other hand you would expect him to blow it about. Actually, I seem to have just answered my own question. And Mandar did as well, but I didn't recognize it. That is: Saturn constricts via his airy nature. Thanks everyone, Vic PS - Mrs. Wendy, good to hear from you again.
