I have some info, in reference to Obama, my info everything checks with the exception of Longitude which is very slight I have 157W59. Barracks dad left when he was 2 and only saw barrack again once before he died in 1982 : In Lagna, 9th house( I take 9th house as generally representing father) – the 8th lord venus is positioned here receiving no benefic aspect In Navamsha, 9th lord Saturn is positioned in the 8th house (12 houses away from 9th house) and being aspected by rahu from the 12th house (house of separation) It is during the rahu-rahu dasha that obama lost his father – this can be seen from navamsha dwadamsha – where rahu is positioned next to the 9th lord venus in lagna – being aspected by a retro Saturn. 2. Obamas mother died of cancer in Nov 1995 during his rahu- moon dasha Rahu (from 12th house of loss) aspects 4th lord mercury in navamsha which in turn aspects moon (significator). Moon is positioned in the 8th house of lagna being aspected by 6th lord Jupiter (which is also retro) so Jupiter receives aspect from rahu also. 3. In 1979 – during mars moon Obama began his university studying – mars aspects the 5th house in lagna and aspects the 5th lord in navamsha. Saturns connection with the 5th house indicates some type of research(he studied in new york public research college) and close aspect of Jupiter and mercury with 5th lord indicates a political and law based education. 4. In 1988 – he entered harward law school during rahu-mercury – rahu aspects 5th house and mercury aspects 5th lord – the strong connection of mercury and Jupiter and Saturn - had to be law ! Moon is 10th lord in 8th house marking a big change or sudden rise in career (8th house is not always bad) being aspected by 6th lord Jupiter (competition). Also note that the moon is located 10 places away from rahu – indicating a profession period. In navamsha 2nd lord moon is positioned with Jupiter in 10th th house aspected by a powerful mercury –forming multiple raj yogas and a fantastic gaja kesari yoga. Note there is a gaja kesari present in the lagna also but this is weaker. 6. Nov 2004 – elected into senate. A remarkable feat. Obama received 70% of the vote to Keyes's 27%, the largest victory margin for a statewide race in Illinois history. During Jupiter-Mercury dasha – Mercury is with sun in 10th house who has digbala. Mercury is 9th lord and receiving aspect from jupiter who in turn is with yoga karaka saturn aspecting 10th lord moon. Venus natural significtor of marriage and in navamsha is located in the 7th house. 8. During 1998 July – Jupiter-jupiter dasha first child is born – Jupiter is conjunct with 5th lord saturn. Jupiter natural signficiator of children. In navamsha jupiter and 5th lord in kendra positions from one another. In saptamsha jupiter located in 5th house So why such a massive political career and lots of fame ? Some points to note: The 4th house is " Simhasan " and the 9th house is luck. There is a mutual aspect between the 2. This person can compete for the `throne'. Venus lagna lord is in the 9th house – enhances luck. Having mercury and sun especially in the 7th house wud certainly show some events in his marriage - but his marriage seems quite strong and stable. However, I dont think that being in the dasha of the 12th lord and 3rd lord is necessarily bad - or having 12th lord in lagna is bad either - I think it depends on more factors. Also, having a deb jupiter in the lagna wouldnt be so bad either especially when its with the lagna lord itself. Neverthless, I agree with you and do not regard this as the correct time.
