predicting future quake. with timing of

the event and the place where it may take place.

Thanks! :-)

This, alas, is easier said that done! In September

2005, I wrote a piece called " A Brief Study Of

Tsunamis " which is available, I think, in the JV files

section. In this piece, I analyzed 10 tsunamis from

1293 to 2004. One major point I found was that, five

times out of ten, Kuja was in Mituna. Beyond this, I

was not able to come to any conclusion.

Of course, Neecha Kuja spells some form of

problem--earthquakes since he is the boomi karaka,

fires, explosions (like the Jaipur one), etc. I wish

we astrologers could predict beforehand when such

accidents can happen--it would be good to save lives.

But alas, because of our limited knowledge--and also

because it is the destiny of people to suffer in

disasters, both manmade and otherwise--we can rarely

predict such events! :-(

Hi Balaji

well this is a good begining and once u keep analysing more u will find a

pattern and will be able to connect to more future ones and this is a

special area called Mundane astrology and Brihat samhita by Varahamira gives

u more clues apart from B V RAMN'S WORKS ONEARTHQUAKES AND HIS MAGZZINE OLD

ISSUES WILL GIVE U CLUSES

THE SAID WORKS HAVE CLASSIFICATIONS OF REGIONS CITIES TO LOOK FOR AND ONES

IN THE SHADOW ZONES OF A IMPENDING DISASTER CAN BE SAID WE NED MORE

DEDICATED TEAMS TO DO SUCH STUDINES AND THEN BE ABLE TO HELP MANKIND IN A

LIMITED WAY, MAX WE CAN SAVE IS LIVES NOT THE DISTRUCTION OF PROPERTIES EVEN

IF A FEW ARESAVED IT IS WORHT IT, BUT NEED MORE MANHOURS OF STUDY

Dear Balaji,

Your reply is honest and utmost refreshing

and pure. I AM SURE with such honesty you would

be able to scale the walls of mysteries and unknown,

in future, and in time to come, delve in these

secrets of astrological behaviors of planets in

mundane astrology, and be able to predict

succesfully about the future events.

May God bless you.

My best wishes always,

rgrds,

Bhaskar.

You are right--Varaha Mihira's Brihat Samhita is an

invaluable work, as is Shri Raman's book on

earthquakes. However, finding the pattern is tough,

and maybe, with age, I will gain experience! :-)
