Guest guest
Manasaa, Obviously I need to review my astronomy a bit, but please remind me again, how does declination of the planet play a part in this phenomenon of combustion, in addition to latitude? (I should really look it up -- your post sounds interesting and intriguing). Over the years, I have been searching very hard for a chart which pins any affliction or evil effects or inefficacy (astangata dosha) of a planet when the sole negative factor was combustion. There has always been something else when negative influences showed up. I realize that different ayanamshas and other 'filters' would play a part when we are examining something like this, but I am hopeful and I am open to new learning. I would really appreciate if anyone shares a chart where combustion alone could be shown to result in a negative effect, experience etc, or even a demonstrably significant one.
