Lagneshwar Sun is welcomed by friendly Mercury into its Gemini 11th

House.

--\

-----------------

This upachaya house purifies the sun and gives leadership in the house

of influence, friends and pleasures. As much as I like spiritual

astrology, I thus bet the main bulk of my work will concern romantic

or materialistic issues. In Navamsha the Sun is in the 8th house with

Venus and Jupiter - this is the right place for the Sun for astrology,

if you ask me. It sheds light upon the occult. This colors the

placement of the Sun in the birth chart, showing that leadership and

influence will come through the ability to shed clear light into what

is otherwise unseen, unknown, or not understood.

Sun is housemates and roomates with Venus in both charts. Venus is

very comfortably welcome in Gemini's house. Thus I should bring

refinement and a sense of artistic beauty to my work, doing that will

improve my sphere of influence. Venus is well placed in the Kama-

bhava. This work will bring me pleasure.

There are three raja-yogas affecting the 11th House, involving

Jupiter, Venus, and the Sun.

Mercury, bhavesh of the 11th is retrograde, but in the 10th, in Venus'

house. This house swap (parivartana yoga) between the two best friends

is excellent. An exchange of qualities between Mercury and Venus

brings poetic communication abilities to my practical work (10th

house) and makes that a factor contributing to my ability to influence

others with my work.

Mercury is retrograde so i should pay careful attention to language

barriers, and also maintain the clarity of logic that will usually be

a hallmark of my work. Also, i better not go flying around with

predicitions of death and divorce!

Mercury is in the house of the full moon!

That beautiful moon is in Jupiter's noble Sagittarius, along with

Jupiter, and in the 5th House. I think this is simply an excellent

situation especially for intuition. In the navamsha, Moon is in the

2nd house and Jupiter in the 8th. One good for earning and one good

for occult insight.

Jupiter is retrograde, I'll need to consider that.

The connection of Moon and Jupiter is significant because moon owns

the 12th and Jupiter owns the 8th. This indicates a that success comes

at the expense of others, or after tribulations. A nice way to look at

this is that I may have to debunk a lot of other people, and by so

doing gain notariety as an astrologer.

Rahu is in the upachaya 6th in both charts (janma and navamsha)

Mars is debilitated (compatible with my birth chart) with Ketu in the

12th lots of to help people get towards moksha and become detached

from materialistic things. Saturn is in the ascendant. I don't

consider that bad for an astrological enterprise. A sense of fatigue

would be one thing likely to make me want to give up this pursuit.

There are some nice yogas, besides the 3 raj yogas and 1 viparita raj

yoga...

Gaja-Keshari

Adhi could be if Mars is taken as a benefic by lordship

Amala

Hari Yoga (somewhat rare, i think - benefics in 2/8/12 from 2nd Lord -

brings wealth and fame and good students and partners as well as

happiness)
