Guest guest
Dear Niket, I wanted Deepak to answer himself, to get practice in how to do astrology. Without doing homework students rarely have the concepts sink in deeply. I participate in this forum not to give readings but to learn astrology and, in turn, to teach it. So I am not interested in reading anyone's horoscope here (though I would love to if they would like to contact personally in that regard), but I AM very highly interested in learning and teaching here. That's why I am answering the way I am. So let's me direct some further queries to Deepak based on what you've said. These questions are meant to illustrate the thinking process of an astrologer. > 1. His ketu is in 4th house in Jup nakshtra and mars which is in 9th > house is aspecting it, How many degrees are between The focus of the Mars aspect and Ketu's actual position? Who is the ruler of the 4th House and tell me about his or her situation? Jupiter is Ketu's nakshatra lord... tell me about Jupiter's position. Is ketu happy in this house? Why or why not? What is the friendliness between Ketu and Jupiter? between Ketu and Mars? What can you say about your normal state of happiness and contentedness based on this? > 2. His rahu is in Sun nakshtra and he lost his job in JUP>VEN>RAHU > as venus is also exalted, and SAT is in 8th house on own nakshtra > also aspecting his friends (10house) sign. and vin is in SAT nakshtra. Rahu is in which sign? Who is the ruler and how is that ruler doing? Rahu is in the Sun's nakshatra. Where is the sun? Is he doing well, or suffering? An exalted planet being involved in a job loss is interesting. What is the relationship between the Dasha lord Jupiter and the Bhukti lord Venus? Friends or enemies? What houses do they both rule? You point to the fact that Venus is in Saturn's nakshatra who is in the 8th. I think this is a good lead. > 3. what you say Rahu is exalted in VRASHAB and Ketu is exalted in > Vrashchika. Exaltation and Debilitation of Rahu and Ketu is debatable. What I like to consider more prominently is their direction and speed. A stationary node is phenomenally exalted and nearly stationary nodes are nearly phenomenal. Nodes moving FORWARDS are very powerful influences. I like to consider this before considering sign dignity for the nodes especially. But I do agree with your assessment, though I acknowledge there are multiple opinions.
