Guest guest
Dear Manasa, //1) when we consider Ex./Deb. planets, what is more important is it the degree or rashi? For eg, if a planet is in a degree not within the range of exaltation in its exaltation rashi, do you consider it as exalted.// As we know, a planet's dignity (strength to do good) increases proportionately as it approaches its highest degree of exaltation and likewise begins to decrease (proportionately) as it moves away from this point. Even so, a planet in sign of exaltation is still in sign of exaltation and should, unless otherwise afflicted, be expected to give good results. //2) I have noticed that the house of Ex. and debilitation are 7 houses apart. So Ex. planets has 7th aspect on its debilitation house. My question is whether the good attributes of the exalted planet suffer pertaining to the house of deb. or if the deb planet aspects its exaltation house, does it have a positive influence on atleast that house.// A planet's dignity is determined by occupation, not aspect. Consider, for instance, exalted 9th lord Jupiter (Scorpio lagna) aspecting 3rd house...
