For those who think that Rahu and Ketu forebode evil always.

 

Dear friends,

 

My wife was just reading the SrimadBhagavatam, a few minutes ago.

 

Ashtam Skanda - Dasva Adhyaya ( 8th Canto 10th Chapter)

 

Here we are told that when Lord Vishnu cut off the head of Rahu after

being told by Surya that he is sitting amongst us , disguised as a

devata, and thereafter when he realised that Rahu had already got some

drops of the Eternal Life giving nectar, THEN , Lord Vishnu told Rahu

that from today onwards your Danavvritti would be over.

 

Here " Danavvritti " refers to the Cruel or evil tendencies in anyone,

specially in the Tamasik forces.

 

I request all the new entrants into Astrology to please respect all the

planets, including Rahu and Saturn, and keep affections for them, if

they wish to rise in their studies and astrological careers. Never speak

derogatorily of them, but understand that they have to work in

limitations demarcated by the individual destinies of the natives, and

would thus be multi natured in results giving.
