However, in truth, this knowledge has been with us for quite some time. It was in 1983, with the discovery of the unified field of natural law by modern quantum physics, that Maharishi inaugurated the year of the 'Unified Field' to enliven this in world consciousness. It was much later in 1992, during the televised inauguration of 'The Constitution of the Universe', that I first heard Dr. Hagelin, professor of physics at MIU, give an inspiring talk on the exact correspondence between the constitution of the universe in the primordial sounds of the first sukta of Rik Veda and in the mathematical description of that same unified field of natural law from the perspective of modern quantum physics. (I was fortunate enough to have been given this on tape) Without doubt the field of quantum physics has been a great step forward in raising the level of world consciousness.
