I have been taking care of my elderly parents for quite some time now and my older siblings have made it clear they want me out of the picture. They have succeeded in confusing my parents but at the same time my parents are making no effort to defend me in any way and they know how much I have helped them. I just don't get it but I am leaving today. I cannot subject myself to being treated this way any longer but I am still very worried for my elderly parents. I just don't think they realize that their older children are just waiting for them to die. I would like to have parents around for a little longer which is why I've stayed and helped but when I go, they will just wither away. I am so scared for them but I don't know what else to do.
