7th house significations - sorabh

Dear Sorabh,

In this chart, Venus and Mercury are considered to be functional malefics,

that means they will harm the grahas they conjoin with and/or the houses

they are placed in, but that does not mean they will act as malefics for

their own houses or significations.

In this case, Venus seems to be strong in Taurus because it owns the sign.

The other significator for relationships and marital issues is Saturn

(another functional malefic for Cancer) and this is conjunct functional

benefic 5th lord Mars.

Best wishes, Rui.

Dear Rui

Thank you for your clarifications - your insight and explanations

have been most helpful. You say venus is strong in its house of

taurus- but the degrees is just above zero - does this not make it

weak ? an infant ? thanks

Dear Sorabh,

Yes, this makes Venus vulnerable but it still is in Taurus (own sign) and

this helps Venus fight its vulnerability.

Would it be correct for me to think you are strongly influenced by the

Systems Approach astrology propounded by V K Choudry? Your replies and

questions seem to echo some of the SA's principles, but I may be wrong. This

is not a criticism, just a question.

Still regarding the loss of job, you should always look at the 10th house

and lord first. In the chart you mentioned, Mars (10th lord) is already

vulnerable in 3rd because of its conjunction with Saturn (8th lord of

death), now add this to the transit of debilitated Venus (triggered by the

Sun's period) and you will see how afflicted Mars becomes.

I think you also asked " would u agree with me when i say this boy cannot

earn much through employment and should find some other means? " Would this

boy be you? Anyway to see what kind of career the native should have you

should look at where 10th lord is and at the Dasamsa chart. 10th lord is in

3rd of writings and languages conjunct 8th lord, so I would suggest a

profession to do with languages (perhaps translations or those new computer

languages), something technical because of Mars but also to do with research

because of 8th lord Saturn. What job did the native have anyway?

Best wishes, Rui.

Dear Rui

Thanks for your response , no i have never actually studied systems

approach so i am suprised at what you say....but i will look closely

into it. The boy is my friend, he has been an accountant for the

past 3 years. With regards to his jobs he has always managed to gain

positions in his career of a high status (chartered accountant and

then management accountant) but his salaries have never matched that

of his profession which have foced him to quit the job and look

elsewhere. In his d-10 chart mercury is found in the 10th house

which could show this connection with accounts - i too have

suggested a career in communication - perhaps writing.....although i

really do not see him earning any regular income through

conventional means. There is one thing further id like to ask - his

fourth lord is situated in the 11th house of profit - could this

mean he can profit through buying and selling of properties/cars ? I

do not see any regular income for the boy....only proft/losses.. Id

love to know ur opinion on the matter. Many thanks

kind regards

sorabh

Dear Sorabh,

I agree with you regarding gains through properties like vehicles and house

because not only this native has 4th lord in 11h but also Jupiter in 4th.

Jupiter is the natural karaka for the 11th house of gains. So there is some

potential but I am just not sure this is the right time for such a venture.

Would he consider market research?

Best wishes, Rui.

Dear Rui

Those were my opinions too - precisely because jupiter is karka of

gains but one thing which prevents me from suggesting this to him is

that his 2nd lord (lord of second which is of income and accumulated

wealth) is in 12th house of loss and eclipsed by rahu. I am worried

if i suggest property dealings to him he might use his accumulated

wealth and loose of all this ! lol i do not wish to be blamed for

such a thing........but anyway going back to ur original question -

he has done a maths degree and sutdied professional qualifications

in accounts - i doubt he will undertake market research although its

a good idea. thanks

kind regards

sorabh
