Siblings, Mars and Sun

To those who have looked at many charts... If Mars (planet of

Siblings) is combust (Sun, planet of sterility) will we see a lack of

siblings - or none at all ( " only child " )?

 

I am an only child, mars is combust in my chart. Does this corroborate

with other charts?

 

Where are other significant places in the chart to look for further

conformation or correction?

Dear Vic,

 

There are several things in your chart that point to denial of siblings.

As you said, karaka for siblings is 90% combust 8th lord (8th is the

house of separation). Also 3rd lord's dispositor is conjunct Ketu in 8th;

debilitated Saturn's aspect on 3rd lord is another indication of

separation/loss...both SA/KE are separative planets. Also significant in

regards to Saturn's aspect is his lordship of 2nd...a marakasthana that

also happens to be 12th from 3rd...an indication of loss/denial of

siblings.

 

We see the same influences (of denial) in regards to 11th...11th lord

Mars combust 8th lord; Saturn's aspect on Jupiter (karaka for 11th);

Jupiter occupying 12th from 11th etc..
